- Dustin LeeApril 7, 2018Have a print-out of your itin handy to show security, which is before you get to the check-in counters. Uber is easily the cheapest and most hassle-free option (compared to taxis and hotel shuttles)Upvoted 3 days ago

- Highly recommend Uber & Careem, forget about the white taxi or the airport's taxi.Upvoted Jan 28
- Get your entry and exit stamp ready all times for faster transit. Duty free in departure is cheap and have good varities of perfumes. Nice dining areas and clean, modern terminal (3)
- Seth-Fong P.May 14, 2013Customer service representatives are friendly and willing to provide information. By the way, some Egyptian offices made some practical jokes that are unacceptable. Ex. Touch our body.
- An amazing airport. European facilities and great design . Burger King and Haagen Dazs are there , great duty free also.. Enioy...,
- Egypt is the best and the people are in the airport are the best and they have the best smile and make you happy
- has gotten better over the years. make sure to arrive a couple of hours early, bring change to tip everyone. average selection of food & beverages at the lounges, solid duty free and coffee shops.
- Dave McJune 17, 2023Visa on arrival is really easy, they ask you how many you want, you pay the money, and they give you the stickers. You even put the sticker in your passport yourself! 🪪
- Make sure you catch the way at least three hours before your flight or you will miss it
- Kanari K.March 12, 2015Business class lounge needs a major makeover! Sit at the Starbucks, that's upstairs by the business class lounge. Music is wicked👌👌👌
- Better to pay a VIP service to get you through security/visa line. $20 or so. Remember to bring cash for Visa $10. And have a driver booked to pick you up in advance.
- Majed AlashariOctober 26, 2019Many security checks & everyone asking to see your passport. But clean airport with limited food options. In arrival book Uber/Careem it is cheaper & ask them to pick you up from the airport gate.
- Cairo's newest terminal, much better than the other two old ones. Apart from the ultra lousy access to the parking lot, it is fine. Free WiFi on Orange, done ATMs and a coffee shop.
- Layover walk over to the Le Meridian they have restaurants, sports bar/smoking allowed. Great place to layover at
- If you've got a long lay over, the Star Alliance lounge is 200EGP and comes with fresh coffee and snacks. A great place to relax pre-flight with working Internet and comfortable seating.
- Foxxy BFebruary 18, 2022Use Careem to/from airport: ~120EGP. Arrive at least 2 hrs early. Smoking allowed in most cafes. Strange order of events (security, checkin, customs, boarding gate, security, board yourself). Not bad.
- George SirmaleniosMay 7, 2013Pretty awful airport. Reasons are as follows. 1.No places to sit 2.No plug points. 3.No star alliance silver lounges 4.You can't purchase entrance to gold star lounges during peak times 5.Wifi dc's.
- Saad AlsalamahSeptember 4, 2018Terminal 2 is my favorite. Very kind staff and my favorite airlines. Cafe and duty free are limited though.
- In terminal 1, free but not so reliable wi-fi everywhere. Starbucks and McDonald's are upstairs. Don't let anyone help you unless you want to give tips to just about any employee in the terminal.
- Luca GennariJanuary 19, 2015If you need internet connection and the one named "FreeAirportWifi" does not work, go to first floor to Puro Gusto caffè and use VIP-WIFi for free, unlimited time.
- People help you only for some tip, if you need help make sure you only give him the money after helping you!
- Salwan FinjOctober 4, 2019Security at check in and then security at the gates as well. Can be either a very painless and fast process or a very long and time sapping immigration queues. Dedicated to Egypt Air...
- Get a visa sticker for 25USD at one of the banks before you go for immigration. Cash only!
- A spacious, modern airport equipped with all amenities, but reaching it via the express line requires a longer time, especially for this terminal No. 2.
- Benedek FrankApril 1, 2011Free WiFi on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 departures and an English pub with smoking allowed. Clean, tidy, well done Egypt. Be careful of airport staff, they help only for a "baksheesh" (tip)
- Please If you found some one seems lost help him especially older people :-) , be kind to others :-)
- Terminal one is hell but it's all worth it at the end because you can have your Starbucks coffee inside. Light at the end of the tunnel.
- Nicole Mills2 weeks agoGet there early enough to go through several security checks where you have to remove all electronics from your luggage. Carry a pen to fill out the mandatory immigration form.
- 30 minutes of free WiFi (requiring a working phone that can receive a text abroad) in this era where you have to arrive at the airport hours early is not exactly generous...
- Alan CarnegieAugust 8, 2017A newish airport with spacious business lounge for all airlines ( except Saudi) Serves mostly dried up sandwiches and some people who may make you coffee.
- Max GodoiOctober 2, 2023The feeling I had is that it is not prepared to receive so many tourists, the exit from the baggage area is chaotic and the exit from T3 is regrettable, there is a lot of harassment from taxi drivers.
- ShAugust 9, 2018Old airport, SLOW service, we practically had to wait 1 hour and a half to check in & put our luggage bcz the treadmill stoped suddenly! They ask for tips everywhere even the security & police..👎🏻
- Alan CarnegieAugust 8, 2017Arriving at departures is still a manic experience where you run the gauntlet of cars, men hanging around and security at the gap in the ad-hoc erected fence.
- This time I was coming from Jeddah so arrived to the seasonal terminal which is small, nice and the bags come very quickly.....
- Gerardo ValerdiMay 19, 2014Free WiFi, Duty Free is super cheap. Clean and organised for Egypt, I was surprised. Be ready to bargain and negotiate.
- Alexander StolbovskyOctober 20, 2014There is a public bus to the city center. You should get a free airport shuttle to get to the bus stop from arrival zone. Price: 2 pounds. The rode will take 20-25 min if the traffic is ok.
- If you need a ride, your best choice is using the limo service in the airport just before you exit. If you prefer a taxi, only take the checkered roofed taxis as they are metered. Enjoy your stay😊
- Rafael RossiAugust 9, 2014Make sure you did the web check-in before and you have a printed voucher. Otherwise the officer will take you time before you find the company office to do the check-in.
