- Mike HuangDecember 23, 2010I always see a lot of Japanese customers there. A sign that this is a good, authentic Japanese restaurant. All the skewered meats are very tasty but just a bit too salty for me. Still very good stuff
- get the beef tongue, chicken wings stuffed with fish roe, chicken heart, amazing fried rice get it! And if you like fried chicken they've got some pretty good ones and the mashed potato cakes
- Tim BarnardSeptember 14, 2014Best yakitori I've had in Shanghai. Everything we tried was decent, but the yakitori is where it's at. Even slightly above average, by Japanese standards.
- For a refreshing drink to offset the saltiness, I recommend the 'ume shu sour'. Plum sochu with soda.
- Steve MarSeptember 27, 2012Super crowded so make sure you call to reserve a spot. Also a loud environment so not a great place to quietly relax
- Doublechin ChinJune 29, 2011small cozy japanese restaurant. yummy yakitori. doesnt accept credit card. around RMB300 per pax. Do make reservation before u go.
- Martin BraeckerApril 26, 2013It`s a hole in the wall place. But pretty cozy, serving BBQ - simple and nice. Cheers
- The cold Japanese draft beer and sochu sours are wonderful
- Sammy6000March 26, 2010Make sure you get the tsukune so that you can shrink to the size of a marble and roll out of their tiny door.
- JayMarch 10, 2014Food material is genuine, but taste is just so-so. Subpar environment, very crowded and noisy. Beware' seems every other customers smoke. Relatively quite expensive!
- KMDecember 11, 2015The chicken skin skewers are crispy and delicious! Roe stuffed chicken wings. They have an English menu if you ask.
- Cash only. RMB 700 for dinner for 5, only 2 beers cuz I was driving.
- This is the happiest place for food & drinks with friends in SH!
- Hyun Jong JeonApril 18, 2010평일이든 주말이든 예약안하면 못앉는 일본 포장마차. 붕위기는 좋은데 좀비쌈. 생맥에 꼬치 땡길때 가끔이용하세요. 들어갈때 머리조심하시고요. ㅋ
