Pizzarium has the best “pizza al taglio” (slices of pizza) in Rome. Made from select local ingredients, their pizzas are simply amazing. If you plan on coming here for lunch, be prepared to queue. Read more

Nowadays you'll see "Bonci" more prominently displayed than "Pizzarium" but the great pizza is still the same: gourmet with VERY interesting toppings like buratta, zucchini flower, prosciutto crudo

Pro-Tip: Order a few kinds of pizza, eat them, and then get back inline as they constantly being out new and inventive flavor combinations. Cabbage and pumpkin outshined their classic.

Different but great flavours of pizza baked beautifully and sold by weight. Good selection of beers too. Sit on the bench, sit on the kerb, stand at the wooden tables. Well worth seeking out.

Grab a number, wait outside until your number is called, get as many different types as you can (they're all so good!), pay, pick up your pizza, and then have an amazing meal!

Delicious off-the-beaten-path pizza place. They speak some english and have fantastic vegetarian options. Some of the better pizza in Rome - very crispy crust without being too thin!

Must confess, I hate squared pizza, but... Pizza here is serene. (Better only at I Fratelli). Only 8 tables, so you have to wait, but worth it! New pizza everyday.

Pizza by the inch (pizza al taglio). Many tastes, but changes promply. There is a queue ticketing machine, so must be busy in the peak hours, nonetheless the service is quick.

The line moves fast: grab a number, and drool over the dozens of varieties of pizza. Totally worth the walk from the Vatican, and definitely a must stop for lunch.

Creative pizza toppings arrayed in a wide variety of the highest standard. Hoof it out past the tourist traps surrounding the Vatican and you shan't be disappointed!

Well worth the hype, and the wait. A bit overwhelmed with tourists, but still popular with locals. Both the best and most inventive pizza al taglio you're likely to find anywhere

Some of the best pizza you will ever eat! I completely underestimated the pizza with pasta carbonara on top! )) and incredible selection of suppli and arancini - DO NOT MISS.

They say the best pizza in Rome. I say, try everything here. Plenty of vegetarian options including a tasty potato topped delight. Stop reading this and go now.

Extra-ordinary pizza experience. Unusual tastes with usual ingredients. Definitely worth the trip, which is a bit out of the popular routes. My favourite was the one with potato.

So many flavours so difficult to choose! Their tomato basil with a chili kick, & cheese zucchini flower was spot on. The bread base is super. Only disappointed there were as many 'out-there' combo's.

Pizzas are good, but I don’t think the hype is justified. You need to wait quite a bit and the prices are fairly high. You can have amazing pizzas in Rome, equally delicious and much cheaper.

You have to stand to eat your pizza but top notch. The puffy, light Napoli style pizza is made on site and the staff use scissors to cut it off and serve a taglio (by the slice). sold by weight

Currently, tables are patio and standing room only. There is a small sidewalk bench outside so if you want to sit and eat after a long day of walking around Rome, grab the bench.

The most famous pizza al taglio place in town. The owner is obsessed with the base, and the toppings are over the top - tripe, roast beef salad, even pineapple.

Conveniently located near the Vatican lies proof that while Naples may have been the birthplace of pizza, Romans love it too. Go for some exotic toppings, like roasted grapes, rabbit, or fennel seeds.

The pizzas and fritti (try the carbonara ball) were super delicious, however, not worth waiting for 1 hr in a queue and eating in the street (there is no seating). Might be worth as a delivery order…
