Well this place is a grand old hotel. It's in a great location on the banks of the Amstel. Grab a drink (pricey!), sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunshine.

Grand, historic hotel with comfortable rooms. Impressive lobby. Get a room with a canal view if you can. Breakfast is very nice, but expensive.

Phenomenal "instant service"...they'll collect your laundry service within a minute of calling, room service comes faster than most restaurants serve so believe it when they tell you 10-15 minutes!

Has been years ago, but had a delicious high tea and was in very good company (girls afternoon out....) great ambiance, wonderfull scenery along the Amstel river.

The brasserie is good, but if you want a life changing meal, eat the main restaurant . The chef will blow your mind ;)
