Zen-like simplicity and meditation means pools adorned with lotuses, gently tinkling bells, and birds singing in the bougainvillea. Try the vegetarian restaurant. – Green Guide Editor

Very well maintained landscaping, quiet and nice. Location is easy to find and closed to MTR and bus. Highly recommended.

Unexpected find. Beautiful but simple Buddhist nunnery very close to the Diamond Hill MTR stop. Very nice gardens just across the street.

Travel back in time with a visit to Chi Lin Nunnery and soak in the traditional architecture enveloped by tall skyscrapers imposing Hong Kong’s signature skyline.

A bit of peace and quiet, a zen garden, fish pools and a wooden temple constructed without a single nail. Not that far out.
