A beautiful addition to Penn State's campus in 2009, the arboretum displays more than 17,000 plants representing 700 species. Open daily dawn to dusk, guests can enjoy this garden free of charge!

This was my grandparents' favorite place on campus when they visited. They said it was the only place that wasn't hustle or bustling. A nice place to "get away" during hectic times!

Though it's a little out of the way from downtown, a visit to the Arboretum is well worth the trek. Check out all of the beautiful flowers in the spring.

A beautiful place to take a stroll. If you walk far enough, past the pavilion, you will be able to see the magnificent Schreyer House.
