- Ana BlancoApril 7, 2018Beautiful! With some stunning interior spaces! Much more awesome than Edinburgh castle. There are some one hour guided free tours around the castle every 30 minutes and guides are really emotive!
- Sampada PatelJune 1, 2018Excellent visit. Tours every half hour last for an hour but well worth it. Make sure to do the Wall Walk where you walk along the wall to the cannons and then go down to see the kitchens.
- Jack ThomsonJuly 6, 2016A great place to learn about history, the audio guides are very good and I recommend them but I would not eat at the cafe because it is very expensive a ham and cheese bueguette is 7.50 on its own

- Andy DunnDecember 16, 2013The £3 for the audio guide is well worth the money if you're travelling alone. The history is acted out in an engaging way, especially so when in the Royal Palace.
- Ben EngenDecember 2, 2022One of the more iconic Scottish castles. The price of admission includes a short tour that makes it a worthwhile stop if you're in the area.
