Look out for the statues of George Stephenson and James Watt above the main entrance. They were two influencial British engineers who help pioneer the railways.

Avoid taxis right outside and taxis being offered inside AT ALL COSTS! Call an official company, e.g. +3612222222, +3612111111, +3615555555, etc. Check the web, western station should be ~2KHUF MAX!

As someone already has said, Mos Eisley! The ticket office for international trains is by platform 6, take a waiting ticket from the machines on the walls, but get the right ticket!

Open air space so can be cold waiting for trains. If buying an international ticket on premise allow 30-40m. Can be very busy and you need to get a ticket to wait in line (like at a deli).

All international tickets (To Prague, Munich, Slovakia and so on) work within a month from the date of purchase. Turns are not small therefore it is better to buy tickets in advance.

NEVER exhchange money at the exchange offices in the station. They change at a very low rate. Go and find one in the city.

Not the greatest. Spend as little time here as possible. For a snack on your outgoing trip the PK Bakery kiosk is excellent.
