- Chris R (thechristophe)October 8, 2016Nice place to spend some time revisiting still recent history. Many statues of the old communist regime can be seen. Getting here by public transport is easy with Metro 4 and frequent buses.
- Maxwell HouseMarch 5, 2018This park is worth the short trip out o the city. The fact that its out of the city and a little quieter adds to the slight eeriness of the statues. There’s also a Trabant to inspect.
- Carl GriffinDecember 31, 2015Amazing collection of communist period statues with Lenin, Marx and Bela Kun. Worth the effort of travelling by bus away from the city centre.
- Elsa PollardDecember 26, 2019Easily accessible by metro & bus or bolt/taxi, impressive and thoughtfully put together. Worth watching the documentary also.
- Hans KleinsmanMay 8, 2018So this is on one mother of a hill (find out the hard way when you’re by bike). DO get the booklet or figure from the internet what you’re looking at and DO see the secret agent movie in the barracks
- blanca garciaAugust 26, 2012If you can, go for the guided tour (1200 forints). The park has a few hidden stories that otherwise you won't learn. Don't miss the barrack exhibition and the film either, well worth it!
- B. Aaron TalbotFebruary 19, 2017smaller than i thought but really cool to see...we took a taxi out but there are two bus routes that drop you off close to the park
- Oleg PoluektovAugust 21, 2014The remnants from the Soviet Union can be found here. A bit out of the city. But great photo opportunities and all in one place!
- Markus KolletzkyOctober 26, 201330 min bus trip from the city to Budapest suburb: Very interesting. If you're fan of communistic monuments you have to go there. Comparatively high admission: 1500 HUF (~5 EUR)
- Jonathan KhooAugust 16, 2013Park itself is totally seeable in less than an hour, but leave time to watch the film on being a secret agent (English subtitles) in the left bunker (if facing the boots).
- AsyaAugust 12, 2012It is not big, situated on the outskirts of Budapest. If you are from former USSR you can't see anything new and interesting. But there are cool postcards and other souvenirs on the pay desk
- Vasilije MicicFebruary 13, 2015Amazing expirience visiting this place! All you can see is one big IMPACT!
- Allison KasicNovember 29, 2015Make sure you have a number for a cab on you so you can get back to the city. The bus options are sparse.
- Michelle D.September 7, 2015Very difficult to get to via public transit from main Budapest. Hire a bus or take a taxi.
- We Love BudapestApril 15, 2015Over the years this surreal collection of proletarian-promoting artworks has been complemented with classic cars of the Eastern Bloc and star-shaped gardens of red flowers.
добираться конечно огонь // go for half an hour and take some photos. to reach the place is a kind of quest itself
