La Piscine Olympique is the Colosseum of pools—cavernous and skylit, with diving towers and swimming options from a wading pool to one that’s twice the size of a skating rink. -- Green Guide Editor
Worth a look. You can walk around the entire stadium and get a good look at it. No need to do the tour unless you want the views from the tower (overpriced).
Just behind the stadium, if you climb the stairs that get you to Sherbrooke street and then to Maisonneuve park, you will find a nice little hidden brand new playground with trampolines & a nice view
I visited for Mets vs. Blue Jays in March 2014, and it makes me wish that MTL still had a team, because this place was the loudest ballpark I've been to. Those plastic seats help.
Since its inauguration for the 1976 Olympics, more than 67 million visitors have come and it has, along with the famous Montreal Tower, become the international symbol of Montreal!
