Many of the seminars/workshops have student rates, discounts through professional orgs like SPJ or NPPA or scholarships you can apply for. Don't let tuition be a deterrent. Beyond worth attending!

Swim in the lap pool out front. It looks shallow but is awesome, especially early in the morning.
