Beer is always amazing! Gets crowded, but can usually swoop up a seat for you & your crew within minutes. Fully enclosed with heat lamps (that work) all winter. Oh, and there's Ping pong, nuff said.
Incredibly crowded on summer evenings and weekends, but it can be nice on a weekday. The highline above acts like an echo chamber and it gets super noisy. And what's up with the tickets?

Cons: Hard to get seating, Im almost always standing Pros: Drink token system is sometimes irritating, but its efficient, and the heating os great, can be outside even on a cold night

Sam McCrimsonApril 27, 2013You have to buy tickets for each beer at the entrance. Tickets cost 8 bucks which is reasonable. Nice atmosphere for hanging with friends. But the pretzels are also a ticket (ie 8 bucks!) Ridiculous.
You gotta get tickets to buy the steins of beer and food. Cool spot when the weather is nice although it tends to get very crowded.

Weekday afternoons during the summer are the best times to go. Afterwork and weekends are slammed.
