Really Beautiful square. Enjoy the architecture of the surrounding building, the fountain, the palm trees, famous Gaudi's lamppost. Surrounded by restaurants. Grab a bite to eat, sit & enjoy the place

A hidden gem next to the Rambla. Unwind and have a cocktail or Moritz, the Barcelona beer. The prices here are a bit higher, but certainly worth it! Also very nice in the evening!

Beautiful square surrounded by palm trees and lit by street lamps designed by Gaudi. Watch the queue in front of Les Quinze Nuits grow around dinner time.

Hustling and bustling square with a few attached hotels and lots of tapas spots and vendors! Just be wary of some mediocre restaurants and early (10pm) kitchen closing times at some patios!

It’s placed in the Gothic Quarter, you have to visit it. Also it’s super close to Mercat La Boqueria, so it’s a must to do in Barcelona.

Sort of the main modern plaza in the old city center. Cool to walk around in, also where Gaudi walking tours often start, but otherwise a little bit too touristy. Especially the restaurants.

A great choice of restaurants around the sides of the square, a beautiful fountain in the center. We enjoyed just sitting there, watching the street dancers.

No.1 romantic place in Barcelona. Good for short visit, just relax or enjoy a glass of wine in one of the restaurants, Rossini is a favorite.

Cozy pace to have a rest, enjoy the surroundings on a sunshine afternoon would be very nice. Sometimes they are steer artists performing here.

Great place to sit a relax but they are mostly restaurants can be hard to find a seat just for drinking beer. Food served is good quality but they are a little arrogant when it comes to service. Slow!

If you go to Plaça Real pay atention to the 2 Gaudi Streetlights and don´t miss the opportunity of watching a jazz concert at Jamboree or an Indie one at Sidecar. Tarantos for flamenco!

Snails are great to try as tapas in the bar just behind temple bar etc. Watch out for beggars and street sellers who may pester you.

Museo Restaurant: hamburger, lobster, patatas bravas, olives, nice cold sangria=65 euros Food was nice, service was nice.
