- This station has 2 platforms which can be confusing to 1st timers. The 1st level is for both eastbound red & purple line trains and 2nd level for westbound purple & northbound red line trains
- Paul T.July 31, 2016Huge station with a really long escalator. Try walking up instead of riding to work those leg muscles.
- The only Red Line station where you get a signal while on the station platform. I notice this when passing by on the train. There is two more ticket vending machines close to the elevators.
- Law enforcement will sweep the train ask for people TAP cards. I have witness this twice on the last Red Line (B) train to North Hollywood & in the mid afternoon while on the Purple (D) line.
- Sam GriffithsJune 4, 2010Outdoor farmers market every Friday. Gotta sample the wasabi covered peanuts. They are excellent!
- Alex PudlinApril 30, 2010As far as metro stations go, this one has decent cell phone reception. Take a few steps towards the escalator and marvel at your mobile power!
- Don't get caught standing too far towards the down escalator end. Non-Rush hour Purple line trains are short and you'll have to run up the platform to board
- Ticket machines got moved outdoors. They're now around the corner by the conveinence store, not inside like they used to be
- The Coffee Bean baristas are rockstars. They get you in and out.
