- The Ritz-CarltonFebruary 16, 2016Animals at Reid Park Zoo tend to be most active-and the crowds smallest-in the morning & shortly before closing. While here don’t miss a camel ride or giraffe encounter for the ultimate meet-and-greet
- Valerie UnruhJune 20, 2015Everything! I was there even when it was really hot (110) and most of the animals were still very active! When it was too hot for me I went to the learning center and enjoyed the animals there

- Eliza DoolittleNovember 21, 2022I love the giraffes, always have and still want to feed one (it’s on the bucket list). Lot’s of friendly folk to talk to and great place to just stroll and observe that animal behavior.
- K12 IncJuly 13, 2011Did you know? The Zoo was founded in 1965 with a collection of birds, prairie dogs, farm animals, and a few squirrel monkeys. Today it is home to hundreds of exotic animals from several continents.
- eric bornemannJanuary 2, 2023Smaller zoo, but nicely done and a perfect rainy day activity in Tucson. The elephants are a lot of fun.
- Sarah RApril 17, 2019Make sure to feed the giraffes! The meerkats are cute. The aviary is cool too. And of course, ride on the carousel.
- Adilene IbarraFebruary 15, 2013The zoo is always a hit with children. Thanks to the new Elephant expansion, the zoo feel bigger. There are a lot more hands-on activities for children.
- They usually feed the giraffes around 10am. That's my kids' favorite part! The mini splash pad is load of fun during hot summer days!
- Rolando OrdinarioJuly 10, 2012Check out the Jaguars! They are absolutely amazing :) Also if you happen to stop by at the right time, make sure to feed the giraffes!
- Carolyn HandyJuly 31, 2016It was during the heat wave so the park closed early, but it was small enough for us to see all the animals that were out in about 2 hours.
- Mitch AMarch 29, 2012The animals are wonderful. Feeding giraffes is cool. Elephants are awesome. Food at the Zoofari Market is very kid-centric (at best).
- Matthew BoeppleJune 9, 2010Nice little city zoo. A childhood favorite. They have a train (tram) outside the entrance that runs through the park and a water play feature inside the zoo. Polar bears are my favorite.
- PhilipposSeptember 8, 2015The elephant exhibit is impressive. Check out the live elephant cam: http://reidparkzoo.org/cameras/elephant-cam/

- JonMay 29, 2010Fun during the day but do not trust events. Went to Family Fun Night. Advertised crafts - got paper and crayons. Games was $3.00 kids toy. Advertised a movie that never happened. This was a scam.
- Close at noon today. Thanks for the heads up on the website. -_-
- Robbin UlmerDecember 13, 2010Not impressed with ZooLights Event. They closed off half the zoo. I came here for Photo opportunities. If you have kids I imagine this would be much more eventful.
