- Emily-janeOctober 30, 2017Beautiful location along the canal surrounded by lots of walks! Book in advance at weekends. New menu, basic pub grub favourites, friendly staff, good for groups, kid and dog friendly.
- Bill ClaytonFebruary 5, 2013In summer (or any fine weather) be prepared to Q like a mother Hubbard to get served...the line WILL be out the door....what I do is actually buy 2 rounds at a time......I'm not kidding
- When it's hot, or rainy and you wanna eat in ring through and reserve very popular haunt and there will be a wait otherwise
- Rowan KrzysiakJanuary 24, 2016The food was not bad at all. Having to get your own knives and forks and the use of sauce packets seems a little dated.
- Order processed food only (burgers, chips etc.) DON'T order 'fresh' food. It's all clearly been microwaved/re-heated & WILL be a disappointment. Shame. But, if you stick to burgers you'll be OK.
- Jean-Francois de KriekFebruary 21, 2011The service is perfect and the food is very good too. There are many people and it is best to book.
- Mr CAugust 5, 2012If you are not local and you are not coming from the London bound carriageway of the A3 then it is a devil to find. The postcode for satellite navigation is GU23 6QW.
- Benjamin EllisSeptember 18, 2010Fantastic menu. Sitting, eating by the river, watching boats through the lock.
- Callie CarlingAugust 26, 2013Avoid on busy Bank Holidays - waited 45 mins after taking our food order & after a sweet waitress went to check, our food hadn't even been put on to cook!! Needless to say, we cancelled our order :(
- It's just ran, really badly. Constant single file queues just to get a drink.
