- Nabeel HyattApril 1, 2017Hard to find but worth it, go in The Cube at the railway station then take the escalators all the way up to the 11th floor then wind your way back down the hallway. Its labelled Katsukura.
- Yohan Gabriel LiutamaNovember 28, 2017Delicious crispy pork cutlet (Tonkotsu style) with unlimited supply of cabbage and barley rice. Come early, is to the left from the escalator. Waiting time is about 30 mins or more.
- mika metzMay 28, 2016Great tonkatsu with the usual accoutrements. Free refills on tea, cabbage and rice. And you get to grind and mix your own tonkatsu sauce too :)Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Cheen The CuriousDecember 14, 2017Every table has 3 pots of sauces: one for salad, the other 2 are regular & spicy ones for katsu. You will be given a bowl of toasted sesame seeds to grind into your katsu sauce. Blend your own :-)
- Steven HillApril 23, 2019This is difficult to find. Look for signs for The Cube Restaurants on the 11th floor. It’s at the very top, to the left of the steps.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Adam LakhaniDecember 30, 2017On the 11th floor of Kyoto station. Delicious katsu, I recommend the pork tenderloin. Free refills on rice, miso soup, and tea.

- Berkay BuharaliMay 27, 2018It was a really unique experience. This is very good restaurant with good prices. I strongly recommend the schnitzel with pork. It has all you can eat rice and soup. Be aware you might need to queue.
- Li SumOctober 21, 2017True to the great comments made about the food here. The tenderloin pork cutlet was simply amazing. Juicy and very lightly battered. Not oily like some others. Miso soup in the zen set was tasty. Yum!
- On the 11th floor of the iSeitan department store there’s this magical food court named “eat paradise” and that’s where you’ll find the best pork cutlet you’ll have in your life. Highly recommend it.
- Joachim OoiNovember 12, 2015Waited for almost 30mins in a queue but it was worth the wait. The best Tonkatsu ever! Go for Tenderloin. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
- Paul MasataniApril 15, 2018the best katsu i’ve ever had. 160 grams is the perfect size. The katsu sauce is insane with the fresh ground sesame seeds
- ShirpsMarch 24, 2016I've eaten a lot of tonkatsu and this is the best I've ever eaten. If you're not a big eater, get the 80g of Sagen pork. There are free refills on rice and cabbage.
- Expensive but worth waiting in the line. Pork cutlet is delicious and you can make your own sauce. Side dishes are unlimited.
- Shaun LiewOctober 28, 2017Pork cutlet ! This restaurant is in a very secluded spot. Take a lift to the 11th floor through JR ISETAN
- ChavelliFebruary 5, 2013Waiting for your train? Have some delicious tonkatsu while you wait! You make your own sauce too. Even the cabbage is amazing.
- Cheen The CuriousDecember 14, 2017The spicy katsu sauce is not spicy, more sour-sweet spicy. To pack a little more punch, tap a little mustard to up your game
- Ryan BrightOctober 7, 2016My last dinner in Kyoto. The Joshu pork tenderloin was fantastic. Try the spicy sauce!

- Sally CheeDecember 29, 2019Ok. Ramen soup is soy base . Considered good as queue is not long as compared to others
- Melissa OgataApril 9, 2016Simplesmente delicioso!
