- Stacy Bo BacyJanuary 2, 2015You can pay 5%-30% of the offered price and the sellers will still make money. Haggling is a sport! It even happens in the food court upstairs!
- Christopher MulliganAugust 11, 2017This place lost much of its charm. If you want to win the lowest prices, just tell them you'll buy it on Taobao and they will cave. Fun place to bring first time tourists.
- Alexander WinterJune 5, 2013Learn the art of the bargain. Only the skillful will walk away with a good deal. Be prepared for "you're joking" and "you break'eh my heart!" Fun experience!
- Ailie ChangMay 13, 2016It's like finding a diamond in the rough here. There's this artist who can carve a photo you love into marble using tiny dots. If you're looking for a good deal on custom suits, go to John Tailor.

- Sarah LimMarch 17, 2015Must bargain every time. Walk to the next shop if you think the price is too high. Eg: We bargained a wallet from CNY1200 (offered price) to CNY75.You need time to shop here due to bargaining process.
- Harumi UNovember 2, 2014Some of the places, you just look and walk away and people still get angry and give you parting words. I think pearls are a value but I will not walk into bag shops and places like that
- SherlynJune 26, 2014Start haggling with at least 20% of the original price. If they don't agree at first, try walking away. They might give a lower price. If they don't, you can try again at the next store.
- Toné MSeptember 11, 2018Large shopping mall with lots of similar items. IMO I think the Pearl Market has better selection of silk and cashmere scarves. Be prepared to negotiate. And stand hard on your price.

- Valentine KiselyovJanuary 17, 2012Its possible to minimize the starting price for scarfs and other simple stuff for 10 times. For most other goods 3 to 5 times lower from the start.
