- Major airliners, such as Citilink and Batik Air are serving this airport. This airport is nearer to city centre and fewer traffics than the crowded Soekarno-Hatta.
- Imo, the airport mgmt has a sad taxi policy. Only 1 taxi q & u don’t get to choose ur preferred taxi. I don’t mind if all taxis have the same (high) service level, but we all know that’s not the case.
- Come earlier than normally you would do, especially if you have check-in baggage

- Sergei S.March 25, 2015Tiny old-timer airport with practically zero amenities and poor sound isolation.
- Airport for some destinations for citilink and batik, old airport that trying to update his look, not that good but at least better that his previous look, plenty restaurants to choose
- Try Kantin to get Indonesian food - price is reasonable and food pretty good
- Naoki FerrioJanuary 29, 2014Prepare yourself to bring some snacks because there's no caffes or decent restaurants around here :(
- Near from downtown and south jakarta, so we can minimize the traffic jam
- Pieter VerherstraetenMarch 23, 2016Nice small airport South of Jakarta.. Try to catch an alternative flight to Bali for example. Cheaper and less crowded!
- Distance wise, this place is a favorite. And then they have this weird taxi system that stops me from choosing my preferred taxi company. Meh.
- KontanNewsNovember 16, 2010In the 1960s the airport was also known as the Halim Perdana Kusumah Air Force Base, and before it was known as Tjililitan Airport, the borough where it lies.
