Nyugati pályaudvar is one of the three main railway stations of Budapest in the 6th district.Planned by August de Serres and was built by the Eiffel Company. It was opened on October 28, 1877.

One of the largest railway stations in Hungary. The building itself is a masterpiece; however, it should be renovated. Unfortunately, there are always a few unpleasant people around.

If you need to buy something, there's a tesco just outside in the square next to the station. The stores inside WILL rip you off!

very rough welcome in bp. it's not easy to buy your tickets while beggars stand around and want your money. avoid it, buy your ticket online. stay out in evenings, wait in mcdonalds instead

The train station is small and nice building outside, dont take the train to airport from here, be careful with money and buy tickets online as it can get very busy. Go below and find great market

Hier gibt es eine Tür über dem "Viribus Unitis" steht. Dahinter befand sich der königliche Wartesaal von Kaiser-Franz-Joseph. Leider kann man ihn nicht betreten.

Много мусора и попрошаек. При покупке билета в интернете - поезд просто не приехал, как объяснили на стойке информации - уехал с другого вокзала (что?). Пришлось бронировать место на следующий поезд.
