Best service station on the M6. I always try to stop here if I can. The restaurant is nicer than usual motorway food by far, and the farm shop has lovely things to take away or eat on the go.

Buy a hot drink and get half price refill - just simply take your mug or cup back to the counter and order your refill!
Very kid friendly, soft play area, lower basins in loos. Great views, smell of good food. A real welcome break. And look for the sleeping ducks

Very pretty, lots of ducks, sure... but they've never heard of veggie breakfasts and the prices are appalling even by motorway services standards.

By far the most popular and probably the most famous service station. It's a family owned site which sits in the Lake District on the M6, consisting of two services offering great views. It has many nice and unique facilities such as a duck pond, a farm shop and a caravan park.
