Lots of security checks, multiple luggage & passport checks, etc. But all the staff and security people are patient and nice though, so it is not so bad, only time-consuming. Be here in good time.

It's a big but well-planned and clean airport. Be ready for tight security check.

When people recommend getting here 3 hours early, it’s no joke. Security here is (understandably) tight and there are many checkpoints to get through. That said, we’ll organized and friendly people!

Make sure to get to the airport at least 3 hours early. Even to just go through security with a carry on the wait is an hour and you are asked tons of questions.

The aviation security is on the highest level! The duty free shops give the wide choices, moreover, if you are a flight attendant, you have the opportunity to get the good discount 😉✈️❤️

Make sure you give yourself at least three hours before your flight, specially if you have been to the Middle East and south east Asia.... Airport security is gonna be a pain!

I thought it would be bigger it’s well designed and manageable. Security is of course very strict but everyone is very very polite and respectful. Not a lot of shopping and eating possibilities though

Get to Ben Gurion as early as you can for your flight: if you aren't an Israeli citizen, the security takes a really long time. Try to remain calm even with the slightly intrusive questions.

Free WiFi, delicious food but no true sit down dining. Some duty free shops but the place is small. Make sure to show up at least three hours in advance as the security check is strict = long lines.

The concept of a line in Israel is quite blurry. So when entering the line for gate security, keep your elbows out, because Israeli people will be cutting the line right and left. Enjoy :-)

A rarity for an airport, check out the palm tree-lined garden outside Terminal 3. It includes citrus orchards, agricultural fields, olive groves, and stone terraces.

Best coffee can be found in concourse E all the way at the end. Don’t get fulled by the options in the main plaza.

I’ve travelled to 70 countries and this has the funniest security check. I have Dutch passport and they asked me the origin of my name. Because it is Turkish, they put me in their famous check.

People not checking in luggage and with a boarding pass can avoid the lines at the regular check in desks and go to the expedited ones adjacent to the first security checkup. You're welcome :)

Free WiFi. If you're going to TelAviv you can take a train/bus. There're shuttle buses to other cities (e.g. Jerusalem). Taxis have a choice between fixed price to nearby cities or using a meter.

Hey, border control, if you have 32 desks but only have 4 open for the 300+ people in line, don't be surprised if the population thinks you're overpaid and useless.

Pondering checking in bag or taking on plane? Check it. Or else, you'll be doing lots of repacking @ xray. They take security seriously - everything's getting taken apart & swabbed.
