Went for dinner here after reading all the tips on 4sq and glad we did! The staff is really nice and helpful, the food is authentic, good quality and decently priced. Cozy atmosphere on wonky chairs!

Perfect introduction to traditional Belgian cuisine at an affordable price. 7PM is just before the rush. We had great, fast service & wonderful wine! Will definitely return - 100% recommended!

Enjoy a solid selection of Belgian beers. Fun menu and a great atmosphere. Especially if you don't mind the shared tables. It's a fun, delicious, satisfying place. There is no sign outside

Queues move fast but be there before 7 to get a table within 20min on a busy night. The stoemp is a safe and delicious choice!

They only serve Belgian meat based dishes and some veggie. Great choice of beers. Worth a visit, they don’t accept bookings.

One of the Belgian restaurants which you can't miss if you are around. Big potions and good quality. Always crowded and since they don't accept RVP, make sure to come in advance!

The food is delicious without being expensive or fancy, just like home cooked food. I’ve often had the rabbit. The staff are friendly and fast. They don’t take bookings but it’s worth the wait.

Amazing place! The best ribs in Brussels and probably in the world. Very good wine selection, interesting menu and attentive cool staff. Unarguably the best restaurant in the city.

I'd avoid the coffee as it does not even taste like coffee, but the place is amazing, good choice of beers... and if you do not drink, you can always get something else :) Love the atmosphere here!

Very down to earth and beautiful space! Love the zucchini lasagne. If you’re a big group, there may be a bit of a wait but as a group of 2 at 7pm we were only waiting a couple of minutes.

the best brussels food you can get! they don't go along with the coca cola company and they haven't changed their prices since the euro got introduced! the salade de vollaille grillée is to die for!

Just had a superb "Onglet" (the part of the cow the butcher saves for himself) here. Meat was great, side dishes could do better. Great atmosphere! A must go for tourists and locals.

We ordered Jambonneau and rabit's meat and both were great and the size of foods was big ..plate design was good and the taste of the food was great..

Best staff ever, very quick, friendly, well-organized although it is very busy. Food is really delicious, prices are fair. Try rabbit with Kriek (cherry flavoured beer)

Fabulous Food and very friendly waiter. The prices are very fair. We ate 2 Steaks with potato and salad and 2 bottles of water (46€). The steak was really big and fantastic!!!

There is no printed menu so you need to go inside and see the choices on the menu in order to tell your waitress what you want. Don't be scared of the crowds, table turnaround is super quick!

The beef stew was amazing. They only take cash and take a picture of the board as has you walk in. no paper menus !

Great and quiet ambience. Delicious and abundant meal. Hard to find if you don't know where the restaurant is, because it hasn't any sign outside. Credit card isn't accepted, but it worths it.

The food is simply amazing. The carbonnades was delicious! The meat was so tender! It is a bit crowded, i suggest trying to make a reservation.

No-nonsense Belgian food. One of the most authentic Belgian restaurants with more unknown dishes than just « carbonades à la flamande ». No fries though.

Chimay carbonnades drunk with chimay beer? Absolutely amazing. Go for the agneau papillotes too if you get the chance.

Friendly staff and tasty food! There is no menu in English but they are willing to translate from French. Remember to have cash with you as credit cards are not accepted.

Good Belgian food (and other things) but it used to be better. It is now very touristic. You can't book in advance. And they haven't changed the menu for a while.
