Nice airport, if u r flying domestic then I recommend that you check smart aviation. Cheeper than Egyptair and it's a nice service. They have routes between Cairo and Hurghada too

Smooth experience arriving and departing, staff do their job without any smiles though. The airport is comfortable and easy to access. The only thing to note is that the bathrooms are pretty gross😷

We made a good deal with a taxi driver at Hyatt and saved money and energy (otherwise every trip is a fight for price) I can recommend Sheifa Mohammed, nice and decent guy tel +20 122 7639419

Nice airport has an authentic Arabic style with tents. Duty free items are not that great mostly safe stuff you get outside when in the city. People claim free wifi but I couldn't get it work.

taxi drivers really act like cheaters. They overcharged you 5 times more for taxi charges than normally. You go outside of airport and there you take a taxi passing by on the main road 😏😏😏

Unfriendly staff, don't speak English, try to make you throw away things that are allowed. terribly spoils impression. Staff here have never heard of wearing gloves while searching you and your bag.

Check in goes the Egyptian way. No priority check in, no business class lounge available, even for gold/ business class passengers. Security and immigration is fast and smooth.

Try the burger king at the second floor, it's not that crowded as the shops on the first floor. Also no queues at the toilet.

Keep in mind that if you are nor planning to leave Sinai and go to mainland Egypt, you are NOT required to buy the $15 visa sticker.
