Justin JNovember 22, 2017Selling local Malay food, many variety of authentic Malay food to choose from, you can have rice, noodle or even kueh, but the place is not spacious, at some point it is too packed with food lovers.

Nice place to chill with frens and be seen... and when you're done here you can check out Upstairs cafe which serves pretty good food and drinks. Like upstairs cafe decor too.

Leilanie NadiaAugust 3, 2010Bawang Merah is the cleanest Malay restaurant I've eve known.they have lemak masak chili and paru chili,both are crazy delicious.bawang merah doesn't have any branches btw.
Karipap here is made in limited amounts every afternoon around 4pm. You'll be lucky to get hold of any!- I must say, Everything taste good here. My favorite place for authentic Malay food.

The karipap here is a MUST TRY! Especially when its served HOT!

Food is good however the layout of the place is horrible. Kuih station in a corner and everybody gets stuck in there. So difficult to move around..
