Get a fast pass as early as you can, you'll avoid the heat and get to see all the animals, hopefully. This safari is extremely magnificent and the ride itself will always surprise you❤️

Amazing! Unexpectedly great! The vehicle drives on a road, not a track, so it doesn’t feel like a theme park ride. Really nice to see the animals have more freedom to roam.

If you're visiting the Animal Kingdom make this your first stop. If you arrive early in the morning you won't have long to wait, but if you arrive in the afternoon, be sure to get a fast pass.

The secret is going first thing in the morning when the park opens. you will see all the animals and it won't be too hot. Also the animals seem to have a good amount of space to roam, which is good.

Have your cameras ready and on the sports or action setting. The ride vehicles do not stop so be prepared.

Best pictures. Sometimes the animals come right up to the vehicles. It's an awesome experience for any kid (and adult!).

One of the best attractions at WDW. If you have time, definitely ride more than once because different animals are active at different times. No two safari rides are the same!

This was pretty cool! Tons of animals to see during the ride. The line moved pretty fast too (even without a fastpass)

Definitely the best part of Animal Kingdom, alongside the thrilling rides. Disney was on point when making the place just like a real safari.

This ride is awesome, they don't pack you in, and you get to see Lions, Giraffes, Rhinos and Elephants about as close up as you're gonna get apart from a real African Safari!

If your camera has a strap use it! The ride is very bouncy in and you can easily drop it. They do say to let them know if you do and they can retrieve it though, but don't be that guy or gal!

This ride is AMAZING! If you can do it at least twice at different points in your day, you won't regret it because you'll have a different experience each time

Try to sit on the left side. There is more to see on that side. Elephants and giraffes can be seen to your right, but that's basically it.

Educational experience that lasts about 20 minutes. You’ll get to see some African wildlife but bring a long a water bottle, you’re going to get hot.

Every safari is different and the guides do a great job of getting you in the best viewing spots. Go early to see the most animals.

I used to work here so I am a little partial, but I love safaris! Make sure and sit near the side of the truck for the best view and stay ahead of the driver by spotting the animals first.

Every trip is different and you never know where the animals will be. There are 2 roads through the safari and an equal number of animal pens on both sides. Sit in middle for the best photos

Did you know that you can see the lions almost anytime of the year on the safari. They have their own air-conditioning/heating unit, so guests get a great view of the lions when it is cold or hot! Read more

The previous 'little red and the poachers' story line repaced with a much more direct 'save the planet' monologue which is nowhere near as involving nor so much fun to experience.

Got on around 10am and ALL the animals were out and either eating or sunning. We've been on this several times over the years - this has been THE best time so far.

Best views were on the right for our ride, but no two safari trips are the same. Try getting the back seat! Bumpiest ride but you'll get some last-second photos if they drive too fast!!

Go as soon as the park opens to the safari to avoid the lines and enjoy seeing most of the animals. It's still cool and the animals are out and about.

Definitely one of the highlights of the Animal Kingdom! Make sure you get on an early morning safari or a late afternoon tour. The majority of the animals are active when it's not as hot. Great ride!

Despite what many guidebooks may tell you, there is no one good time to ride Kilimanjaro Safaris. Some animals will be most active and visible in the morning; others, the afternoon.

I hit this first thing in the AM when the animals are most-active. I usually get a FastPass right at opening then ride standby anyway, the use my FP to ride again almost immediately.

Ask to sit in the front row if you want a smoother ride. The farther back you sit the bumpier it gets! (if you're in to that sort of thing) :-D
