Definitely one of the best academic libraries I've ever been to. Fantastically helpful and personable staff, a huge collection, and open 24 hours. 10 out of 10!- Wanna skype? Use the computers in the learning lounge! They are fully equipped for a talk with your friends and family around the world.
Take a seat at one of those lovely big armchairs on 3 and 4 levels and enjoy the view while reading.
Please bring back the old cloth library bags! They may have been 50p more but the quality was better and I could carry more books in it because it had a square shape. The new ones aren't worth buying.
The group room with the computer is the perfect place to practise a presentation. If everyone is on the same course go together for moral support+feedback!
If you need a Ron Swanson-like level of silence to do your work, try the silent areas on level 4! =D- Checkt out the miniature model of the library in the second floor!
Excellent studet- service. Do not hesitate to ask for info, everyone will welcome you with a smile!

- Cheapest half litre of soda that I've found on campus so far is in the vending machines in the cafe: £1.20.

The group study rooms are really cool and are isolated even from the keyboard click sounds from the computer clusters, making a silent place.
Have a chat with the lib staff! They are super duper friendly & helpful!
Fourth floor silent study area has some beautiful views over Newcastle!- My favorite place to sit: the computer cluster on 4th floor.
During exams period, when you enter the library... WOW! You can see thousands of super hardworking people here.
Get here super early in the morning during the exam months to shot gun a plug socket and/or computer!
Use m.ncl.ac.uk to find computers if you can't find one. Or come at night, loadsa room!

- If you need a caffeine boost - the cups in the café hold 3 espresso shots!
For this time it open for 24 hours, now we can't stop studying...- Don't be late returning books from STC. On my receipt I was one minute late and instantly got charged £1 for each book!
World Book Night today from 6pm at room 152 in Robinson Library
- Don't be an idiot like me and wait ages to start your work. Seriously, don't do it.
