- Ryan Neal CordwellDecember 11, 2014The actual Bear Pond near Shimokitazawa is perfect. This is the owner's alternate shop, and not nearly as intimate or memorable. I'd go with a capp here over the single-origin French Press.
- sputneekNovember 8, 2014Friendly baristas, the latte is easy to drink but the only slight gripe is a lack of space to hang out for abit (eg. the plank-like counter tables). Otherwise a good option for a quick coffee fix.
- Anthony WongJanuary 23, 2014Great coffee. Especially the latte. Different from Malaysia and melbourne's taste. Well done. But if added smile on the barista face, this place is the bomb!!
- Benedict TerrellJanuary 10, 2016Dynamite espresso crafted with love. Seating is minimal at the café. Don't expect to use your laptop here: this spot is for serious coffee appreciation only.
- Brian WanamakerNovember 3, 2018The hinky, deconstructed proto-American vibe of this place is stellar. I want to go back right now. Caffe latte was perfect.
- Annabelle McMillanJanuary 24, 2014It's hard to find a GOOD coffee in Tokyo, but when you do, it's awesome. The coffee here is excellent stuff.
- Nicolas RafenomanjatoMarch 19, 2015Relaxing atmosphere, great coffee! Service needs some improvements though...
- Jason GatewoodMarch 8, 2013They have charging outlets for your keitai and laptops here. But you're SOL on free Wi-Fi.
- Mu-An 🍄🟫October 18, 2014Wifi now requires password, ask the staff. The wifi is fast if you manage to get an IP address.
- Good coffee, yum food and lively staff. Wifi with no pass and smoking welcome atmosphere. My favorite!
- Alper ÇuğunSeptember 22, 2013All of the good things of Bear Pond coffee in a convenient take-out location.
- Sher SahApril 15, 2014Latte is good but Americano not so. There's a sweet taste to it and not our cup of tea. Not allowed to take pictures of the shop as well!
- Natasha RooneyMay 6, 2014Vegetarians can eat here, pizzas are veggie and some other items on the menu
- FRIENDS IN TOKYOSeptember 24, 2012Free wi-fi, good atmosphere, coffee and meals. They open until late at night. Try mojito!
- R YDecember 18, 2015The coffee was weak, which surprised me. Spotty unsmiling service, save for the barista at the front.
- Chris JonesApril 23, 2012Sit by the bar/kitchen and watch the busily make all that damn delicious food!
- Yoshi KomadaNovember 12, 2013Can't use a computer sitting at the table in the cafe because "its the rule". I guess I still am in Japan after all
- Free wi-fi, good coffee at the stand, good food. No reason not coming here.
- It reminds me of late-night cafes in Sydney.
- Damon GarrettApril 5, 2011I tried to order an espresso, but got told they *don't do espresso*. Um, how exactly do you make that fancy latte, Mr Barista-san?
- arielleJune 19, 2012this place serves dinner for lunch and brunch for dinner. why?!?!? I was so hopefull..
- leanne hogbenAugust 15, 2010great menu, it's a shame that they stop serving breakfast so early on Sundays.
