The actual Bear Pond near Shimokitazawa is perfect. This is the owner's alternate shop, and not nearly as intimate or memorable. I'd go with a capp here over the single-origin French Press.

Friendly baristas, the latte is easy to drink but the only slight gripe is a lack of space to hang out for abit (eg. the plank-like counter tables). Otherwise a good option for a quick coffee fix.

Great coffee. Especially the latte. Different from Malaysia and melbourne's taste. Well done. But if added smile on the barista face, this place is the bomb!!

Dynamite espresso crafted with love. Seating is minimal at the café. Don't expect to use your laptop here: this spot is for serious coffee appreciation only.

It's hard to find a GOOD coffee in Tokyo, but when you do, it's awesome. The coffee here is excellent stuff.

They have charging outlets for your keitai and laptops here. But you're SOL on free Wi-Fi.

Wifi now requires password, ask the staff. The wifi is fast if you manage to get an IP address.
