Great hiking, camping and picnicking park. Lots of trails some of which connect to Arastradero preserve, and others that connect to Los Trancos open space.

After decades of being shut down to non-Palo Alto residents, Foothills Park is finally open to everyone. “majestic hike… I could hike that every day of my life and be 100% satisfied.”

Camping under the stars at Towle Camp. Book ahead, way far in advance for weekends--up to a year ahead.

Don't worry, the animals are more scared of you than you are of them. Except rattlesnakes - stay away from them!

Very nice “exclusive” park. Reminiscent of California’s segregated past. #FreeThePark
