- Gonny Zwaag, van derSeptember 23, 2018Mid-size, very modern airport, about 30km from Munchen. Named after a conservative Bavarian politician. Second-busiest airport in Germany. Good hub for traveling to the west of Austria.

- My favorite airport with efficient and quick transfers. Multiple lounges at good locations. Sometimes slow security check but with many in parallel. Good access to the city with public transport.

- Such a beautiful airport. The new terminal is awesome. I love the bed-like seating, perfect for relaxing. Lots of power outlets everywhere. Nice shopping and food court. Plus, not gigantic.
- Wifi, beverages, press for free. You can charge your devices almost anywhere. Toilets clean, smoking lounges ventilated AF, duty free shops are probably the cheapest in EU & they have these chairs. ❤️
- Much better and more convenient then Frankfurt as a connection to the world .The negative point on Munich airport is the big distance to downtown Munich .
- T2 at Gate H32 has sleep-cabins for 15€/h (min is 30€ though). The same area also hosts lounge chairs for resting and tables to work at. Peaceful and much needed.
- Have your breakfast or lunch at the buffet in the central area just behind the local transport counter. Rich variety of fresh fruits and antipasti, also organic food available.
- Aliss KomarovaFebruary 24, 2015By far one of the best airports: free wifi for 24 hours, lots of places to sit with electric plugs for charging your devices, free tea and coffee, newspapers (in German though) and a variety of shops.
- Smaller than his fellow hub in Frankfurt, MUC airport features faster connections and cozier atmosphere. Free WiFi, great land services, multitude of shops, pubs and restaurants. One of my favourites!
- The only major German airport where you are able to make a 55 minute connection without stressing out. Love the automated border control for European Residents.
- Easy to access inside without any confusion.Free wifi and also,many restaurants inside.Lufthansa customers no need to worry if you are late,their team is always there to help you out in a short time.
- One of the best airports in the world, free (but slow) wifi, clear signs, terminal is designed as a long hallway, no turns needed to get to your gate. Sleep pods and relaxation areas.

- My favorite airport in the entire world... Spacious, free coffee everywhere, great restaurants and snack options, easy access to all gates, great business lounges... And polite staff!
- QNovember 19, 2023Very nice airport. Easy to navigate and has a shopping center vibe. Ensure you have at least one hour between connecting flights after touchdown as the airport is huge.
- Free internet access at Computers by many gates. Free wifi by the Allianz arena and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and newspapers by the Lufthansa gates!!! Totally worth a detour!
- Biliana RoussevaJanuary 23, 2015Drastic difference, compared to MPX or FCO. Note a 60-year old lady as a waitress, ways faster than a 20-year one in Italy. Excellent services and 45 minute train rides to München Hauptbahnhof.
- Passport Control is an nightmare. In Munich Airport. It can easily take 1 hour to get through. We saw lots of people miss their flights as a result. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time.

- Todd SawickiMay 11, 2014Napcabs (private sleep cubbies w/ beds) near G07 in T2 plus showers (outside of baggage claim near the service center as you leave the terminal) are very nice (cost 15€)
- They have sleeping stations where you can relax, stretch out or enjoy a short nap 😴 while waiting for your flight ✈️ You can find one near gate H31.

- Very well organized, highly structured and very passenger friendly airport, which makes life easy. The lines at the passport is very short and fast. Lounges are very good.
- Terror RiskOctober 15, 2016Checking in for return flight home. Pretty easy if you are on Business Class. Getting VAT forms verified by customs prior cash refunds from Global Blue counters, 11% for every purchases beyond €30 🤗
- In case you have a long layover, check out the sleeping pods near gate H32 on Terminal 2. Also the free little couches :)

- Ralitsa IvanovaNovember 7, 2017It’s fantastic airport. There is a work, sleep, food, shopping, and quiet areas! Even there is a glass covered 24/7 racquetball outside the airport. Hotels are a bit far away though...

- One of the best, if not the best, airport in Germany. Even while waiting for your flight you have so much to do. However a quicker access to city would be great.:)
- One of the best airports in Europe, esp. Terminal 2. Parking is not cheap though. Take the S-Bahn or the Airport Bus to the city.
- Free wi-fi, free coffee and tea, clean. Come to vitra relax zone near G16. It's perfect when you have transfer flight
- Heeey, they have Hans im Glück burger joint in the new satellite terminal. Very good one, give it a try if your flight is from gate K

- IlyaMarch 30, 2015Lufthansa terminal is bright and spacious. Queues are fast and not annoying. Free WiFi is available (though it's pretty slow) as well as free coffee/tea. Also it has beautiful terrace with planes view
