Ryan BlockJuly 28, 2016Quite possibly my favorite airport insofar as looks and feeling. I feel like I just deplaned into a movie set on the beach. Some art deco flair. Some googie diner style. Small airport, but I love it!

Maui HawaiiSeptember 17, 2013The renovations are pretty impressive. The new bar/restaurant looks like something out if South Beach Miami. One of the better little airports around!
Now has a fill indoor brand new terminal with restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, gift shops!! They even put charging terminals directly under the seats in the waiting area so I can leave 4sq. Tips!

Outlets built in at the seats. Fabulous LBC restaurants at your gate (George's Greek, Taco Beach, McKennas, 4th & Vine wine bar). No line at security. Curbside check-in. WHY FLY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE?
So easy to get in and out of. Clean bathrooms. Surprisingly good food options despite small size. Cool mid-century modern design.
I love this little airport! Always quick TSA lines no matter the day and the airport is usually very clean.

jordan vanderkleiDecember 27, 2014Recommend the bar/restaurant with outdoor seating. They let us stay for as long as we needed after getting a beer and starter which was lovely and relaxin! Power plugs under some seats in the terminal
Great airport! I use this place as much as I can to avoid LAX chaos, as long as I could find direct flight to my destination. Just wish AA also used to airport more.- J BJanuary 28, 2018Make sure you don’t forget that there are plugs for your devices like literally everywhere in the terminal, in the places you least expect! Don’t worry though as all JetBlue aircraft have plugs!
Best airport ever. No line at TSA precheck & super cute souvenirs! Sometimes a back plays while you wait!! Super easy airport!

- jordan vanderkleiDecember 27, 2014Go to the bar/restaurant for comfy seating if you get a beer. They let us stay as long as we wanted. Also look out for power plugs and USB ports between some o the terminal seats!
Lara TNovember 7, 2022My new favorite airport...airy and no-frills. Granted, no special treatment if you have higher status with an airline. The ease of the rest of it makes up for a little waiting in line to drop luggage.
John CliftonAugust 20, 2014Long beach is the most "California" airport I've ever been to. The breezeways are nice and there are multiple outdoor wine bars. Wifi was surprisingly fast.
Best airport! Security is usually super fast compared to elsewhere.

Super easy going municipal airport. A breath of fresh air compared to other much larger airports.
>sigh< Remnants of a bygone era. Imagine actually “dialing” a phone or patch-cords plugged in by telephone operator. A piece of the past you might walk right past.

Super easy to navigate and feels like a time warp back to the 50s. One of my favorite airports.
Hands down, the best airport food in a Long Beach airport you will ever find in a Long Beach airport that serves airport food. Hands down.
If you're visiting LA or LB, fly in here rather than at LAX. It's much less crowded and very airy.

Boathouse is nice for a pre flight drink. Bar is friendly. Delicious pickles with their cheeseburger.

Get here at the right time and the security checkpoint will be *gasp!* EMPTY. No rush, no fuss, you get through in less than a minute. Just another reason why I love this place.
Love this airport, especially when heading to NYC! So easy to get checked in and go through security
The new teminal has a charging area for electronics with seats. Super nice.
