KaterinaDecember 27, 2016Located in a cellar. Truly authentic, very informal, with live music in the evenings. Big choice of Latvian dishes and beers, possible to order 6 for tasting. Go for regular light and cranberry beers.

The best place in old town to take visitors. Nice atmosphere, plenty of beers, and great prices on food and snacks. It can get quite crowded during peak hours, though.

Can’t go wrong with a beer order here - the best Latvian beers are always on tap. Food selections are great too, but the must try item is the iconic garlic bread sticks.

LFebruary 8, 2016Try the local latvian wines - the quince one is great. Breaded chicken 'folk club' style is also delicious. Grey peas is massive and filling so good for anyone on a budget.
