Went for the guided tour. Very interesting. Next time I hope to get ticket for an opera. It's an amazing opera house.

On 1994, a fire broke out and destroyed part of it. The second reconstruction was completed on 1999 thanks to private donations and was inaugurated with a performance of Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot"

Most poorly signed Opera house I've ever been in. No indication in elevator as to what's on each floor. No indication on floor signs as to which floor other places are on. We searched several floors.

Doors open at 19:00. Get in on time, head to the foyer, get a small sandwich and a drink while listening to the background of the play.

Nice place! Came here to watch a ballet. Staff wasn't very fluent in English though and she misunderstood me I think

Come half an hour earlier for the foyer performance fir kids. There are no chairs and you sit on the floor on a cushion.

Un lugar que hay que ver en Barcelona, si puedes disfrutando de una buena opera, mejor, pero si no coincides con la epoca en que se representan, pues haz una visita turistica por lo menos

A sala de ópera da cidade foi fundada em 1847 e lançou estrelas catalãs de ópera, como Montserrat Caballé. Já sofreu dois incêndios, mas foi restaurada.
