- If flying internationally, give yourself around 3.5-4 hours to get to the airport from São Paulo, go through security/immigration and make the long hike to your gate. Otherwise, Terminal 3 is great!Upvoted 1 day ago
- The new Terminal 3 is amazing, though it would be great if at least the people at security spoke a little English. Processes are smooth and lots of shopping opportunities. Well done, São Paulo!Upvoted 4 days ago
- Y.Arman BarlasNovember 28, 2016Guarulhos Airport is the main point of arrival for international flights into Sao Paulo. The airport is 18 miles outside of the city center but well-connected via shuttle buses, taxis and the Metro.Upvoted Mar 15
- Thomas MiliouSeptember 22, 2014Brand new international terminal. Modern and new instalations. Big duty free.
- Alpaslan ErtüngealpJanuary 10, 2015Not happy about directions. You can get lost easily if you have a transfer. You can miss your connection because the staff is too relaxed and everything takes ages... Very few people speak English.
- Asaad 🇸🇦November 15, 2018Lucky if you’re flying from Terminal 3. It’s a new terminal built to receive the World Cup fans some years ago. Clean, spacious and silent.
- Jet AirwaysOctober 8, 2015The Mercado Municipal is the city’s biggest food market with roughly 320 stands that sell everything including seafood, spices & cheese. This is a great place to get a bite of some Brazilian cuisine!
- TeuctzintliApril 25, 2015You can change money using debit or credit cards in the Banks inside (1st floor) the ATMs charge 20 USD just for use them. If you are paying in cash the Taxi, remember to go directly to the cab.
- Mariana De LuccaNovember 8, 2013O Spoletto tem massas a preços bons (10,90 reais pro spaghetti) e a comida eh bem decente. Spoletto has fair priced pasta (spaghetti is 10,90 reais) and the food is very decent.
- So well planed out that it needs coordinators for all sorts of lines you will face , getting in or out
- The major hub in Brazil. If you're hungry, your best shot is to find well known chains, otherwise you'll find yourself spending waaay too much. T3 is much better than other terminals.
- Jim RaySeptember 2, 2018If you’ve got time, eat before going through security. The food options on the other side aren’t great.
- Unprepared staff all around, unprepared wifi without client isolation, unprepared cell coverage. Good luck if you get picked for additional screening, they are clueless on how to use any equipment.Upvoted Mar 11
- There’s a new KFC on site. Terminal 2 close of the alley to Terminal 3.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Take the Metrô Tatuapé bus for R$4.60 (!!) there and/or back. It's past all the other Airport Express buses, on the second lane but well worth it.
- Canha BergJune 13, 2012Have a few hours to kill and want to get some shut-eye? There is a Fast Sleep on the first floor (arrivals), on the north wing. Reasonably cheap and great for a nap in individual rooms.
- HenryFebruary 21, 2017The new terminal is great, well signalizes. Good restaurants nearby, and the duty free has some nice stores but everything is quite expensive. Easy access to the boarding area. No free Wi-Fi though.
- Great airport. Awesome dtaff. Love delta #flydelta #deltacrew #flywithhiren
- Jonathan KhooSeptember 3, 2015In T1 or T2? Stay before security as long as possible. Seating areas upstairs that are less crowded and with power.
- On terminal 2 inside the gate, there are few options to eat, if you have time before customs, I suggest eat before.
- Avoid the R$150 taxi to the city and take the public bus to Tatuape station for R$4.45 and transfer to the metro subway to the city for R$3.00
- First class airport! Modern facilities, ultra-fast free internet, complimentary massages and many others comforts. Would like to live here if I could, like Tom Hanks in "The Terminal"
- Ade AracenaFebruary 24, 2014If you look for a place to eat its better to have local money or else be hungry I hate credit cards... But you can charge your devices for free! Cool and free wi fi!
- Free WiFi is available, but requires lots of work; must enter your passport number and other personal information; if you change locations, you will need to renter again; also times out - painful
- when you forget your computer in the toilet and 3 hours later is returned to you, you have to believe in humanity. special thanks for the adorable Neda (lost and found) and Lessa (security)!!
- Erick CoserSeptember 16, 2016Never grab a taxi, the price and service are outrageous. An UberX is almost the same price as the monopolistic Airport Bus Service (R$ 50-60 to Av. Paulista).
- Federico GonzalezJuly 18, 2013No smoking spaces in ther front doors. Very few food places once you checked in, and VERY expensive! But, overall, a really nice airport. Specially the Duty Free shop in the international area :)
- Peter ScordoJune 9, 2016Arriving during rush hour? Take a taxi instead of an Uber. They can use the bus lines and get you to your destination faster.
- This is a crazy airport. Make sure to get there early, especially if you're leaving Brazil.
- ErkanMay 17, 2017It is a huge airport make sure you have plenty of time between connections. Also they provide free wi-fi 👍🏻
- AD NysFebruary 8, 2013Missed buying a CBF kit or futebol club jersey in town? Several gift shops and duty free stock them after security.
- Terminal 3 is huge and very store and food well served. Nice lounges too.
- Rami IsmailOctober 6, 2016Signposting is miserable, but beyond that a reasonable airport. If you have to walk between terminals, they can be spaced apart way further than you'd expect.
- Jet AirwaysMarch 28, 2014The Julio Prestes Cultural Center is a sight for sore eyes. It was built in 1938 and is home to the Symphony Orchestra of São Paulo and one of the most important houses of concerts in the country.
- Mariale Fernández MacíasFebruary 24, 2013You can take bus: american airport bus line to go to BARRAFUNDA, it is the central station to get busses to many cities of Brasil. It takes almost 1hr to BARRAFUNDA and the price just 35 R
- Hien TJuly 15, 2014check out the I-stick store inside the departure gates in terminal 3. They have some cool printed assembly needed home items that is made in Brazil.
- K BFebruary 11, 2019Arrived smoothly in 40mins for R80 by taxi on a Sunday afternoon. Wanted a final açai before flying out but no go. Only pizza, burgers, Starbucks etc
- Dennis FerreiraAugust 26, 2013the cheapest way to go to the Sao Paulo Congonhas airport is by bus using your air ticket. Gol bus (orange) for One World. TAM bus (red) for United, AA and more. Head to Terminal 1. it's free!!
- The new terminal 3 looks really good. Plenty of restaurants and cafés before and after Passport Control.
- For the world cup: bring your own adaptor (the one with round pins) or u'll pay 10 times more than it really worths
- I love this airport.. very organized... quick checkin process and fluid immigration line.. try any of the local food choices before you board... No Wifi by the way 👎🏻 ... have a nice flight!! ..
- Alan SuSeptember 29, 2017When your flight arrives with a 2h10min connection time and yet you're left with only 15 minutes by the time you get to the gate (between the endless bus ride, queue and the inefficient staff.)
- We have two possibilities... If you are in terminal 3, all is new and great... The others are so old and bad
- Caio TorminNovember 21, 2012Want to get to the city? If it's rush hour (7-11 am / 5-8 pm), I suggest holding back unless you're willing to stay in a car for 2 hours or so. Same/worse on your way back. Buses are reliable.
- It's a quite huge airport. Normally overcrowded. It take a while to go thru one side to other.
- Carmen de LeonAugust 16, 2014Always arrive early for the check in and be aware of your gate. Learn some Portuguese basics, not everyone speaks English/Spanish. It's an airport with a big flow of persons and bad organization.
- Frederic GJanuary 8, 2013New management same flipping long lines. Fortunately, it's the Brazilians who are suffering most tonight while the outnumbered gringos zip through. Poetic justice!
- Terminals 2 and 3 are 10 times better than what used to be only terminal 1. Great upgrade!
