Marseille is one of the most beautiful harbours of the southern coast of france, know as the Côte d'Azur. It is ideal for anyone planning a trip that combines history and culture.
A bit of a love it or hate it city, there’s a lot of beautiful places to see, and lots of streets to explore; but after that it(can be)’s not a very welcoming place. Worth a visit, maybe not a second…
Make sure to spend the time to check out the different neighbourhoods. They are spread out but there is good stuff around. Sad that so much of the city has really bad sewer smell.
