- Mike ReidAugust 7, 2015AUTHENTIC stuff here. Scratch made corn tortilla. The tacos were super moist and well-seasoned. The carnitas, chicken, shimp, al pastor, and canitas w/pineapple. Loved 'em all!
- Washington PostApril 1, 2015This no-frills taqueria went from a quiet Latino hangout to a destination for local chefs and urban food scouts quickly. The menu is so small (and good) that some diners just order the whole thing. Read more
- Behrad EatsJuly 27, 2017They have a killer Torta here, the Milanesa de Pollo made with tender breaded chicken on a toasted soft roll.
- Great tacos on freshly made corn tortillas. They are not large. Really good goat barbacoa, al pastor with traditional pineapple. Special grilled octopus taco was tender and full of flavor.
- Jesse ThomasSeptember 28, 2015Washington post called these tacos the best in DC. For authentic style, they are awesome. ✨they make every single thing on their menu in house including their famous corn tortillas.
- SamJanuary 20, 2016They have delicious, delicious nopales. The huarache is fantastic. Fish tacos are way better than the meaty ones.
- Jae LeeApril 23, 2018Salsas are delicious as are their chips. I got the Pollo, camarones, and pescado tacos. I'll skip the pollo next time. Tacos are tiny and while good overrated. Take the trip to Taco Bamba.
- Ebrahim BandookwalaDecember 28, 2014Barbacoa beef (steamed in maguey leaves) tacos with homemade habanero salsa.
- Adam SeanJanuary 2, 2023Fajitas are excellent. Guacamole is uncommonly good. Recommend the Habenero Margarita (with salt foam). And of course, the tacos are perfection.
- Lenny TehDecember 6, 2018Recommend any of the sopes and the street tacos especially the el pastor, chicken, and barbacoa ones. Try them with a habanero margarita.
- Erwin DelgadoFebruary 24, 2018Without the slightest exaggeration: Everything. Very good service, wildly inexpensive for the quality of the food. Always busy, tight quarters.
- Best Mexican in DC. Try the enchiladas con mole and the al pastor tacos!
- JavienFebruary 19, 2016Expansive variety of tacos. They also have a good goat meat taco. The Mexican beer Victoria is the best Mexican beer on the menu
- Anastasiia ....May 14, 2017Not bad, but definitely not the best place with Mex cuisine. Michelada wasn't that great and tacos el pastor were slow cocked which is not the way they are usually cooked. We liked their salsas a lot!
- This place is incredible! I highly suggest the malanesa de pollo. So delicious! The chorizo tacos are also fantastic!
- I B R A H I MMay 2, 2018Good but overrated : Pescodo taco - bistec taco - comaron/shrimp taco - pescado/fish
- Loren WorsleyMay 25, 2015I have no idea what the huaraches al pastor actually consists of, but oh my god was it amazing.
- The memolas are really good and not often four elsewhere (item on the right in the photo).
- Amazing tacos and fresh made tortillas. They are not late, but the flavors are incredible.
- A VickieOctober 25, 2016Had tacos. Al pastor and steak were fantastic! The green and red sauces are great too
- Seamus McKennaDecember 7, 2018You can’t go wrong! They’re known for their tacos and the mojo to was mixed really well!
- A VickieOctober 5, 2017Tacos! Shrimp, al pastor, barbacoa, chicken - they’re all great, authentic Mexican.
- The quesadilla is huge and fried dark brown — and is so, so delicious!
- Dion favoritesMarch 27, 2017fish or shrimp tacos. Ask for Israel. Tell him you want the Azetic margerita.
