Great atmosphere for loitering. You can listen to cds, grab a coffee, browse through books or even take selfies in the b&w photo booth. Seriously, it's like a mini-mall in here.
They try to manage with various collections I get that. Great for vinyl collectors. I think this store is second best you can get aside from Tower Records in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The music venue in the back of this huge, spacious record shop, is so small and intimate that you can get close enough to your favorite artists to hear the pick crashing against their guitar strings.
My favorite record store, bar none. The selection is beyond top notch, and they carry way more than just records. It doubles as a fantastic music venue, one of my favorites for catching great shows.
Well-stocked with tons of new releases as well as the classics. Also an awesome & intimate 250-person venue. If you can't get tickets to your favorite show, fret not, they also release day-of tickets!
Fun spot to catch more offbeat niche bands that bigger venues might pass on. Their loss, your win. Kill time browsing the store and talking to fellow patrons of the arts.
Bomb ass venue. If you know a band that's playing here, you must go. If not, listen to some artists and go anyway. Whoever does the booking is on top of their game.
This place has everything!! Awesome venue, great selection of new vinyl, interesting books. Cafe was closed when we went, but I'd like to check it out next time I'm in the area.
In LOVE with this place. It can't beat the London location, but it's very well organized with a cool stage in the back and a coffee shop/bookstore on the second floor.
This is an amazing venue and record store. I've been able to see and meet some of my favorite bands here. Absolutely love the size and vibe of this place!
The best place to spend your time. They've really done a lot with the space over the last year, adding a coffee shop and partnership with Melville House upstairs.
I never saw such a brilliant and gigantic record store. You have a great variety of goods and you can listen to anything. I think I bought 8 LP's over there. If you enjoy music, this is the place.
The place is fabulous. It's a pity that record stores are vanishing, but this one resists because is really fanstatic. And the concerts are always a good choice.
They're stocking super limited edition bootleg releases of Frank Ocean's "nostalgia, ultra" and "unreleased, misc" mixtapes on vinyl. Only 750 total pressings of each worldwide. These will go quick!
“Record stores have long been forums for like-minded people. Stephen Godfroy, a co-owner of Rough Trade, said that they present an opportunity to discover music in ‘a non-algorithmic fashion.’” Read more
Definitely feel like it's the 1990s in here or the decade I spent too much time in record shops. Make an afternoon out of it and stay for coffee and ping pong. Re buy Psychocandy on vinyl.

Fantastic record shop + live music venue. Public bathroom allows for slightly intoxicated listening sessions that are uninterrupted by forced exits to pee.
