Best filter coffee! Go for the daily menu, let them describe the flavors and choose the one that suits you. Total happiness! Usually the Colombian ones are the best! Carrot cake is delicious!
Anastasia LarkinaApril 22, 2019You will get here one of the best coffee cups you've ever tried. Not cheap, but totally worth it. You choose the flavor/coutry origin of your filtered coffee and they decide the way of preparation.
The filter coffee is uniformly excellent here. Coffee with milk is a bit of a wash. If things are hectic here, they are usually more bearable at the smaller Koppenplatz branch.

One of the best places for coffee in Berlin. It’s not a café that you can hang out and get some work done—that’s better done elsewhere—but it is a great place to savor well made coffee with a friend.

This is probably the coolest coffee place I've ever been to. These people are crazy perfectionists. I tried the Kenya Washed, which was really nice for this time of the year.
Thomas KnüwerFebruary 19, 2016Hipster paradies to the point of self caricature. The coffee is outstanding but children and breast feeding are forbidden. Yes, forbidden as in forbidden. This is not cool or hip - it's narrow minded.
The filter coffee here is what separates The Barn from the rest. Each serving is made to order and served without milk to preserve flavours and aromas. Ask a member of staff for their suggestion!
No prams, no dogs, no toilet. No laptop at the windows. Great coffee, very hip, friendly staff which will tell you something about the origin of their coffee. Love it.

- Drank my first good siphon brew, after I thought it couldn't be done. That showed me. Easily the best place to have coffee in Berlin. Their filters are my cup of tea (pun intended).

Perfect on a Sunday morning, not crowded, really chill. Appreciate their no strollers & laptops policy. Can add nothing about the coffee, which of course is amazing.

Be warned: This is no ordinary café. This is a place to learn about and taste amazing coffee. The baristas here are zealous coffee nerds. So don't mind all the rules and just enjoy their passion.

Highly recommended by Sir J.- My favourite coffeebar in Berlin and among my all-time favourites. Period. Their filters are always balanced and oftentimes really complex and just so tasteful.
