The Promenade in Brooklyn Heights should be a must-stop for any tour of NYC. Wander the streets too, as it holds some of the most charming architecture and home-design that the city has to offer.

Wonderful neighborhood, beautiful, calm and peaceful enough despite the so many good restaurants and bars that have opened up in the last few years. I <3 it. :)

Go to Starbucks on Montague in the morning, stroll down to the Promenade for pics....walk to Henry Public for drinks and a bite to eat and just enjoy the hood.

If you are a serious thrift-er, you can pass up visiting the Plymouth Church Thrift store. Their advertising is much more impressive than the actual inventory.

If you look carefully the basement is covered by a steel shield, the wall of "brick" is actually faux and the windows are fake. Look at number's 56 & 60. It's an evacuation tunnel constructed by MTA.

The EHS housing kids are always outside the building smoking. Make sure to walk on the other side of Clark or Henry street to avoid the wall of cancer.

A neighborhood between Dumbo & Cobble Hill. The former home of Henry Miller, Truman Capote & Adam "MCA" Yauch.
