Wonderful food. 40 stories high so you also get a really good view of London. Try the Bacon wrapped dates, Spicy Ox cheek doughnut and, The Duck and Waffle. It'll be booked up but it's worth the wait.
This is a place that it should be on your to do list in London for so many reasons. The view, the food, the service and the fact that it has a late night menu is fabulous. Remember to book your table
Ask for a table on the east side, which has stunning views of the Gherkin, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, and even the Olympic Village. Oh, and the Foie Gras with Nutella? Just genius.
It was an all around pleasant experience with great service, delicious food with a view & amazing people to share it with. My personal recommendation would be the goat köfte. Don’t miss out on them!🤤
Not only one on London's best breakfasts (Ox Cheek Benedict and the Cocotte are both must haves!), but the staff is abso amazing! Consider yourself lucky if you get Andre (one of London's best).
The food was amazing but the view made it. Recommend to share a duck and waffle between two so you can try out more of the small plates before you get stuffed. Heritage tomato (pic) was one of my favs
If you can't make a reservation, the line in front of the building at late night doesn't take too long. Probably the only 24h restaurant in town that actually serves amazing food all the time. A gem!
High on 40th Floor of The Heron, you're ensured the best bird's eye view of London, while sampling great British cuisine. Duck & Waffle, Grilled Octopus, Eggs en Cocotte, Foie GrasCreme Brûlée are 👍
Ordered the Duck and Waffle, Jerusalem ArtichokeRavioli and Bacon Dates. ALL super delicious. Christmas Bauble was beautiful but a lil too sweet for me. Chocolate Fondant, yes also delicious.
Go for duck and waffle: crispy, soft, with a hint of ginger and sweetness. Best view in London, awesome food! The best breakfast in my life, though it was difficult to find a place there.
Amazing spot in the city of London. The view, the food, the service were simply fantastic. Posh, yet comfortable atmosphere. Get yourself a table nearby the window and enjoy London at night.
It seems like almost everyone was ordering the signature Duck and Waffle dish. The bacon wrapped dates, cheek and oz donut and the crispy pigs ears are all worth ordering too.
Make a reservation if you're going for brunch/lunch. Duck & waffle is good, but I also loved the seasonal veggies (crispypolenta, welsh goat's curd, toasted buckwheat, & pumpkin seeds)
The egg en cocotte is surprisingly filling. The star was finding the truffles in all the beautiful sauce. For the signature dish, it was excellent. Views are amazing, especially at night.
Someone in your party HAS to get the namesake dish. I am not even a duck fan, but this was stellar. The smoked salmon w/poached eggs is also outrageously good--I could have licked the plate!
Nice view! Went on a Saturday morning for coffee and brunch. The staff is friendly but a bit slow when wanting to order. I got the blueberry waffles and it was very tasty!
View is beautiful and brightness during daytime particularly enjoyable. Food is good: duckcongee, torrejes (French toast) and chocolate fondant. Waffles are chewy and tasteless. Book months ahead.
Duck & Waffle is one of some experiences that will make you realize how lucky you're to visit or live in London. While being basked in luxury, the elevator ride to the top is the first fun perk here
The waiter mixed salmon with duckwaffles but was very kind and replayced the order immediately! Very fresh and unique ingredients. Home made nutella-organic and pink grapefruit juice
If you can score eating here during sunrise or sunset then you're solid. You'll literally be 50 floors up overlooking London. From the Tower Bridge to Big Ben, you can see it all from different angles
Must-tries: Crispy pig ears, roast chicken and definitely the duck and waffles! And if you have space after all the food, get the Torrejas, you won't regret it.
Restaurant with a Scenic view overlooking London city. Don't order their signature dish and go straight fr other mains. Their Pasta is delicious but the star was really their rosemarygarlic bread.
Pigs ears, ox cheek doughnut and duck and waffle were all delicious :) cocktail was definitely not worth £14 though. Service is friendly and waiters are constantly topping you up with free water.
Amazing views and the elevator ride up is definitely a thrill. The decor and food is amazing. 100% recommend for a bit of a treat brunch or dinner in London city!
Great bar/restaurant. Loved their outside rooftop bar. Very smart and cosy place with a small fire outside. Amazing cocktails and great views of the city from the glass lift.
Spectacular view! Amazing view to get a table by the right hand side in the restaurant. If you couldn't get a chance to book a table just pop in earlier to buy a luck.
Being a pescatarian, this was probably the wrong place to come for food. Jack's Wife Freda in NYC made me fall in love with Shakshuka. D&W's made me fall out of love...The view is pretty ace though!
GQ recommends: The duck and waffle. Two brilliantly fluffy waffles, a generous slab of crisp-skinned duck confit, a fried duck egg and a jug of spiced maple syrup. Restorative and delicious.
Amazing view, amazing food, great cocktails and it's open all around! Try to reserve a table by the window on a clear day and everything will be perfect.
The classic duck & waffle was delicious as well as the mousse y foie gras after smearing it on their bread i wish I remembered the drink names but all of the cocktails were pretty & tasted refreshing
Amazing view, friendly stuff, good cocktails. It is quite expensive. Good for romantic dates especially after sunset with all the lights around you. I have always had drinks rather than the restaurant
Absolute splendour from the 40th floor of the Heron Tower. Get the duck and waffle (obviously), enjoy the view and try not to worry about the bill. Book a table in advance. http://bit.ly/2CRsWVO
That view!! ❤️🇬🇧 so unforgettable moment. I was sceptical to my fav Bennie’s on waffle, but it was really good! Yummy! New tasty flavours to my tongue.
From start to finish, this is a high-level experience! Great atmosphere, imaginative food, brilliant service and a breathtaking view! Do pop in for a drink at the bar whenever you can!
Definitely hyped up and sceney but the food backs it up. The duck/ waffle itself is whatever- be adventurous and try everything else. Try to make it in the morning for congee!!! So worth it
Nice view and atmosphere. The duck and waffle is a must try (not because it's the best dish ever, but it's good and you'll only eat it here). Worth a visit, a bit too expensive though.
Amazing view, make sure you drink their version of Gin&Tonic ans ofcourse their signature dish Duck & Waffle, raw beef of fillet with truffles is also really good for starters
Really good food, great views, innovative combinations of ingredients and a cook that doesn't put coriander in everything! Great service from Karolina. We'll be back
The elevator ride to the top is just as smooth as this place, a glass of Veuve with a side of pigs ears overlooking london's greatest scenery, almost in heaven..literally.
