Bests pies in central London. If you want to have seat inside don't go after 13.00. Otherwise, you can just get a pie to take away.
SpirishJune 8, 2013First time here - amazing!!!! Had the free ranger and the chunks of chicken were gianormous!!! Plus the guy working there (maybe owner?) is very nice!!
prices raised and pies changed, not entirely sure why for either. New "light calorie" options added to the menu, withe light=smaller in size and mainly meat free. Ahem...
If the name alone doesn't convince you that this is where you want to eat lunch, then you may not like pie enough to fully appreciate it.- If it's busy at lunchtime, the stall outside usually has the full range of takeout pies.
Robert ShawMay 24, 2013The Matador pie is better on paper than in real life. At this price point I expected decent chunks of chorizo but what I got were miserly slices.
Don't feel like going for a pie? Go for a salad & minty mushy peas! Delish...- Pie! In my face! Chicken of aragorn is the best pie in the world.
