    浅虫温泉まで徒歩1分。「浅虫」は元々「麻蒸」で、温泉で麻を蒸していたことに由来。「麻蒸湯札」を使うと湯めぐりが楽しめます。お求めは観光案内所へ。

    青い森鉄道 青い森鉄道線所属の駅。元東北本線の駅であり、かつての優等列車も運行 停車していたが、現在は各駅停車の列車のみの運行になっている(快速しもきたという例外はあるが)。現在でも運行形態として重要な駅であり、青森駅から来る大半の列車がこの駅止まり、折り返し青森行きとなっている。

    売店とモーリーズカフェというカフェがあります。9:00〜16:20まで年中無休らしいです。
