- Staff are courteous and helpful. The water from the tap and showers come from an ancient aquafer 10k years old, and 1200 ft deep. Once called fire island state park I consider it an elite beachfront.
- Viren KaulJune 17, 2018Clean, not as crowded as other beaches near NYC, lot of lifeguard presence, small food court with snacks. Things to be careful about: No pets, gets deep quick, so stay within markers.
- P PascalSeptember 4, 2011Great beach, remember to bring plastic cups for drinks- no glass allowed. Parking is $10. Bathrooms are gross, shoes are an absolute must as is anti bacterial gel.
- The tide has eaten away almost half of the beach, but at least it is open this year versus the last. The playground’s open as well. It will be crowed all summer for certain.

- The bathrooms are really disgusting and need to be renovated. The french fries, however, are spectacular.
