Great play area for the kids. Water play area, bring towel/spare clothes. Bring picnic, hot food provision outside the visitor centre is expensive and no where near value for money! (Steak bar)

Follow the path under the wheel and come out at the Antonine Wall remains, wander round and join the path on the other side to take you back to the wheel. Great for walking the dog.

20 mins free parking is enough to get in and snap some pictures of this engineering marvel! Park at the upper gallery, it’s less crowded.

Just popped into the cafe for lunch and had an excellent baked potato with haggis and side salad. Cafe a bit cavernous and cold (can be noisy if there are a lot of children about) but food's good.

Fascinating way to have a lock on the canal. Well worth your time to visit and watch the wheel in action.

Don't bother paying to go on it. Instead walk on the free paths around it, you'll see everything that you would on the boat.

    Been here 5+ times
Once you have been once it gets a little boring. Got a wee kids park though so keeps them entertained.

Bring a bank loan for the food and drink stands. Or visit the Spar in Camelon Main Street first to stock up on juice n snacks for the kids.

Take your own food. The cafe is overpriced and not really worth the money.

See the employees for a taxi back to Falkirk High, we walked it, it was awful. Also, the food here SUCKS! The wheel is cool.

Obra de ingeniería increíble y que es recomendable visitar con tiempo. Las vistas desde la colina son muy chulas.

Отличный водяной городок для детей, разнообразные водяные насосы, взрослым будет тоже любопытно.
