Despite all the hype, there's actually less than meets the eye. Their branding of sourish, bitter & spicy asam pedas ain't that special. Perhaps their best bet cud be the daging tetel, which is unique

The tenggiri curry gravy is aromatic compare with ikan pari or kembung. Don really like the nasi lemak as it have sweet end. Satay so so only. First stop here and head to Pak Putra next.

This is "kuah lada" gravy of asam pedas should be thick n not to sour..so, for person who's looking the original asam pedas melaka this is not an ideal place...but i still liked it.. ;)

It is so goooood and kinda cheap. Need to have patience to wait for table and make order especially during lunch but its worth the wait.

2015, still affordable and the taste still the same from my last visit in 2012. This time ate satay ie okay and BIG NO to satar (Pelik bebenor ha rasanya!)

Price is very reasonable. Asam pedas pair with kicap, ayam goreng crispy and taugeh goreng!

Quite disappointing! The Asam Pedas was quite cair & masam. Asam Pedas patut pekat baru la kaw! I dont understand the reviews by othr ppl praising the food here. Overrated & nothing to shout-abt! :-(

Next to Casa De Rio, green coloured shop. We are used to Johor style asam pedas, so this isn't close to our standards. :/ Okay la.
