Best and cheapest way to go in center of Riga it's buy bus ticket for cash in Narvesen store near bus station or in airport near B terminal. Ticket calls E-talon. So, 1 e-talon to go in one way. :)Upvoted Feb 23

When arriving to Riga - DO NOT GO for official airport taxi - RED cabs, or the like. They will rob you blind with their "official" tariffs. Download Bolt or Yandex taxi or Taxify while in airport.
Bas 🌀October 5, 2014Eat & charge your device? Go towards the B gates: the sushi place has 2 outlets in the middle of the couch. The next place (opposite duty free) serves pasta & has many more outlets along the windows.
AnnaAugust 21, 2019Compact and small, quick security and border control. Take buses 22 or 322 to get to a central railway station (downtown) for €2 a ride, bus stop is 300 on the right of the exit, follow the signs.
Easy to reach with the 22nd bus coming every 10-15 minutes from the city.Not a very big airport, but offers a lot of shops, food places and even the famous Latvian Lido restaurant.Free WiFi available.

One of the best airports. Free wifi, smoking area outdoors, so it's not smelly, a variety of cafés, good deals in duty free shops and everything's easy to find. Friendly staff.
My favorite airport in Europe. Fresh, spacious, many shops and cafes, nice staff, connections all over Europe.

If you’re gonna to get the stamp for tax free you need to find the phone in custom zone, call and ask the custom officer to come where you’re. Be aware that it can take time.
Di KadyrovaAugust 2, 2019Best way to get to Riga or Jūrmala from the airport is with Bolt taxi - will cost you €10 or less with a code CPP1R- Sometimes at the gate staff checks baggage sizes very strictly. Be aware of that! If you stand into the middle of queue so that they dont notice you, you can bypass the check. (To Reykjavik July 2017)

Nice up-close place to watch planes take off and land. Accessible by car (might need 4x4 in winter).

If you here on a visa make certain that you have your destination address handy. Latvian passport control is different than any other Schengen country in that you will be asked to provide this.

Free wifi and descent coffee but stay away from the snacks.- For some reason and ONLY at this EU/ Schengen entry point the passport control requests your local address. Causes lots of delays as persons often have to dig thru their luggage to find it. Absurd!

APAJuly 16, 2017On Arrival go outside to the Narvesen Kiosk, there you get a local SIM card for 1.5 € & buy some top up credit (1GB Data = 2€) off you go 😀
Something wrong with WiFi in some places of the airport, try togo to other spot if it disconnects continually.
