- John MetzgerJanuary 14, 2013Really good restaurant at the airport, BEFORE CHECKING IN its at the far right of terminal 3. The name is "La Moraga". It's a modern Tapas Bar and the same as the me in Marbella near El Corte InglesUpvoted Feb 1
- Gabi BulumacAugust 18, 2014It is one of the oldest Spanish airports and is located 8 km from the city centre ;)Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Steven TillyMay 14, 2014Proper airport in every sense. Great range of shops and cafes airside. You can get 15 minutes free wifi per device, so only access it when you need to and stagger your device usage (phone/pad etc)
- A nice small regional airport, you can get out very quickly and rental cars are normally cheap, don't miss that the rental cars are a floor down as you exit
- Javier SianesDecember 20, 2014A good way to visit la Costa del Sol. Great connections with popular places like Granada and Seville.
- Asaad 🇸🇦September 26, 2019Small airport that’s been around since forever. Though it’s efficient and you get thru fast, it needs a major facelift. If you’re coming in, welcome! If you’re leaving, hope you had an awesome time!
- Wifi is free and good (works even with fake email 🤭). All gates are easily reachable and there are plenties of seats. Security controls are a bit of a mess, but never overcrowded.
- Evren YigitAugust 3, 2019It is one of the best airports that I like. Simple, wide and extraordinary. Passport controls are easy, freeshop is nice, lounges can be better.
- Mikko IkolaApril 13, 2013The Wi-Fi is horror here. The is only one service provider and it doesn't work. However, the VIP lounge wifi works great, you can see the password on the reception desk on a A4 paper. "0.moto843"
- 4th busiest airport in Spain, after Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. 19 858 656 passengers in 2019, last pre-covid year. Most of flights are from Terminal 3, some non-Schengen - Terminal 2.
- Sad moment huh? I can feel it. Beautiful memories will remain immortal. The best is yet to come enshallah. Just smile ;')!
- Sultana AlaqeelJune 27, 2019Very helpful staff , clear directions and organized airport although it was small . The happiest part was that we got our luggage on time
- Brian LawrenceMarch 6, 2023Airport can be confusing especially if you have to drop someone off. However, getting through security here is fast and people are friendly. Smallish airport so it is also easy to get to the gate.
- ABPDecember 30, 2014If you registered your luggage online, and you printed the badge in black & white, to collect it you need to go the non-EU belt. Only color-printed badges qualify for the EU belt...
- Get here early, you will have to queue for everything, even the toilets. Also bring an emergency toilet roll, they always seem to run out and are rarely replaced.
- Eddi CoJanuary 1, 2017very nice road transport system to the airport from our hotel. nice shops and restos inside 😘
- Daeic ChangMarch 1, 2015In spain avis and budget are same! Wanna get ur key? Then you never go out! Amazingly, rent a car service desks are located in security area. Already go out? Go to the garage -1 floor and ask again
- Thomas VandermeirenAugust 17, 2014Lovely weather, lovely people. Progress in the airport can be a bit sluggish, so make sure you arrive on time.
- Never travel on vueling or iberia, they lose your luggage on every flight!
- Kim GammelgaardSeptember 28, 2019No real restaurants - you have to queue and carry your food to tables that are cleaned irregularly. If you can find a table after getting your food
- IvanSeptember 1, 2014There's only one VAT refund office @ Terminal 3 for the whole airport. As you can imagine the line is huge, plan your time accordingly.
- Great airport - staff all incredibly helpful. Big thanks to Sara from Sin Barreras
- Moshe SananesAugust 5, 2013One of the.most inconvenient and less passenger friendly airports I hav been to. You return your rented car in one extreme of he airport, then have to walk to the other extreme to check in your bags
- Rajiv VermaDecember 27, 2018If you are returning on Sunday/Bank Holiday evening, it's worth buying fast track service for security check in. It's cheap and completely worth it
- Peter VDecember 20, 2014A true shopping paradise but do not look for basic products travelers do need. A simple toothbrush, shaving, tissues, sun sunscreen, socks perhaps, nope!
- Good airport . If you have enough time before your flight go to sea food bar and enjoy fresh prawns with a glass of rose champaign.
- Marco VoormolenJune 9, 2015Nice airport with quick security. No priority lanes for business/frequent flyers unfortunately. Well accessible from Malaga by train.
- Dave Ray DaveRayPhoto.comNovember 8, 2019On departure buy your last gelato before going thru immigration. Very thin pickings after you check out of the EU.
- from here you can go to benalmádena, where the biggest stupa of the west stands totally beautiful for the good of all beings
- Yvonne CaseyJanuary 5, 2019When you pass through duty free there is a stand selling 1lire spirits cheaper than the duty free shop
- Matt BeuclerOctober 9, 2016No automation or kiosks. Long lines. Everything take extra time getting through Malaga airport. They need to streamline things a bit. You wait in lines to wait in lines.
- FitsJuly 3, 2022Easy train access to city’s downtown. Contactless payment no need to buy ticket at machines.
- Avinash ChandaranaAugust 4, 2013If you're renting a car with Goldcar Rental, good luck. While all other rental car desks are close to empty. Goldcar has a 1hr waiting line during busy periods. Nightmare!
- There is a quiet area upstairs where you can work or rest.
- David HJune 24, 2017Facilities, shops, restaurants, security check speed are good. But unfriendly personally and unclear signs make it less enjoyable.
- Александър ТаррJune 5, 2017The air-condition in the Check-in area doesn't work and the temperature was extremely high!Long waiting time at the security control despite the fact that we was with small baby.
- Jonathan BrownMay 3, 2010There's much more airside than landside. And if you like ham, olive oil and Spanish wine then check out the deli. A whole leg of bolleta ham will set you back only 150 euros.
- Ieva JēkabsoneMarch 30, 201415min free wi fi, if you connect to "aena kubi" network. Need to register, but that's simple, just e-mail adress and a few other details.
- NathanMay 12, 2015Take the airport express bus that takes you directly to the city center in 15 min.
- Head outside to the train station and grab a train for less than €3 in the direction of Malaga central or Finguerola.
