- Most amazing airport in la! No lines, no traffic and no waiting! Security is a breeze and everyone is super friendly and accommodating! Definitely worth the extra cost of flying in and out of here!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Love this little airport that could. Lines if they exist are short (especially since there is now TSA Precheck for those of you that have it). So enjoy a meal at The Lunch Box. It's not helLAX.Upvoted 2 days ago
- Jeffrey LansingJanuary 6, 2017Incredibly easy airport to get in and out of in the L.A. area. If you can get a flight into Burbank instead of LAX, go for it. So much easier.Upvoted 6 days ago
- Chezz Burger Chezz Burger between gates 5 & 6 is a "hidden" gem. The prices are reasonable & the portions are large. But most importantly, its good. Here is a Turkey Burger, no onions. $5.99.Upvoted Mar 1
- Kat LevyAugust 4, 2013SO much better than LAX! Smaller yet less crowded. Get to your gate faster. When flying Southwest they usually don't weigh bags when checking in. SO worth the extra $ to avoid the headache of LAX!
- Rexbabyandkids PenarandaSeptember 19, 2017A good entry exit point when visiting Los Angeles area, very near Glendale and Pasadena. An airport that is not busy. Easy travels out of and going into this airport.
- Easiest and best airport in the county. I've never experienced really long TSA lines or a long wait for my bags at the baggage claim. There are a few dining options (bar, burger stand) but that's it.
- Bon Hope is the best airport to fly out of for short distance trips out of LA. There is a seasonal flight to NYC on JetBlue, also. Totally worth the extra money to skip the hassle!
- Zara ParkNovember 22, 2013If you have any early morning flight, security doesn't open until 5:30am. You can use any kiosk to check in, they have all of the airline carriers on every kiosk.
- Love this airport! Short lines and never over-crowded. Planes board old school style from staircases, which is a hassle for luggage but great for quick boarding from both the front and back.
- Rosy CMarch 18, 2019Best airport I’ve ever been in. Was told by TCA mid-morning during the week is a great time to travel through here. I was the only one in the security line at 10am on a Monday. 😱
- Great airport with quick TSA that tend to be friendlier. Decent selection of food and shops. More and more flights being added. Hold on during landing!
- You can get off the plane from the front or the back, so sitting towards the back will definitely get you off the plane faster.
- Invest in TSA Pre ✅ for $85. You will speed through the security line in 5 minutes, get to leave your shoes on and your laptop in your bag.
- My favorite LA airport. Love being able to exit the plane from the back & you're right outside, old-school style. But if you fly in from NY, you have the longest walk to baggage claim/exit.
- Make sure to stop at Guys Burger Joint that Jameson on the rocks and Kobe Beef burger is FiYah🔥
- Best airport in LA if you want to get in and out of the airport fast and don’t need the frills of LAX. Bring your own snacks though, a bottled juice will run you $11. Yikes!
- Planes board and deplane from both the front and the back in Burbank. You will need to climb the stairs though if you enter or exit from the rear of the plane. The front has a ramp.
- If you are at gate A8 you are a long walk from the terminal. But you can’t beat the convenience of BUR. Get TSA-Pre Check for an even quicker trip through the security checkpoint.
- Ryan KhouryNovember 10, 2019Call me crazy but as a motorcyclists I actually prefer LAX. Only because parking is a pain. However if your not it’s a glorious alternative. Smaller then I imagined. Short lines and friendly staff.
- There’s only one terminal so bypass the ppl driving in the far right lane if it’s busy and zoom around.
- TK-421November 8, 2021Not a bad spaceport, much cleaner than Mos Eisley, easy in, easy out. Even saw a vintage T-46 on the tarmac. No tips on those droids though, move along, move along…
- Adam \[._.]/October 4, 2016This is the best airport to fly out of if you are in the Glendale/Burbank area. You practically walk onto the plane from the airport entrance. Tiniest and speediest airport ever.
- Easy in and easy out. Use this airport to get to LA vs. LAX.
- This is my favorite airport in the nation to taunt the TSA Agents. I like asking them how their “acting career” is going.
- JennNovember 25, 2011Bring your own 5 hour energy or red bull if that's what you live on- they don't have it here! Easy to get in and out of as far as airports. Great alternative to LAX in my humble opinion.
- This airport is absolutely beautiful and clean. You get shorter lines and little to no wait time! Love this airport!!
- Nej KutcharianApril 17, 2022The best airport in all of LA. Worth the price bump compared to LAX. Fast and efficient for both arrivals and departures.
- Marie at the bar is a hoot and a fixture at the airport. Get there early enough for time for a cocktail
- Simply, small and easy to get in only if you are member of Pre-Check. I love Hollywood airport better than LAX. (Shhhh)
- Guys come on - you’re the best airport in the world yet you still make precheck take out their laptops??
- Quick fast service -easy to get in and out of. They have tsa pre check but compared to lax- you don’t really need it unless you have limited time
- Alix RecordOctober 6, 2016It's got hometown feel and you avoid the hassle of LAX in and out. Being from Chicago I can become aghast at the lack of public transit in/around LA. this solves some of the problem👍🏻
- Andrew KrasovOctober 16, 2017Small, comfortable. Lines are short or even not exist. Personnel are very friendly. Recommend it.
- One of the best 'big' airports! Generally no lines at the counters, and security is a breeze. Very friendly TSA agents, heads above others. No scanners are a pleasure, without sacrificing security.
- Zobi NaqshbandJune 18, 2012Check out the @VEGAScom @iSnapKiosk in between gates A4 and A5 to take an awesome Vegas themed picture that you can post onto your Facebook or Twitter account for FREE!
- Jahon PilichowskiAugust 22, 2013I don't know WHAT they do the breakfast burritos, but they taste %]^{+ good and stay hot. Like - just stay hot! It's not right, but it's sooo good! :)
- MashableSeptember 15, 2011You can get in and out of LA through this smaller airport, and you can also get some stuff done while you're there on the complementary free wi-fi!
- The little airport that could! Unless you are just in an unusually unlucky moment, hardly ever any lines, so you can make that flight with the last minute dash.
- CindyApril 14, 2013Right by Gate A3 is a great place to grab a salad to go. Build Your Own is the best deal in the place. NOMS!
- To take the free shuttle to North Hollywood Red/Orange Line, go to the Shuttles & Hotel island and tell the Super Shuttle agent you're going to North Hollywood Metro station.
- Amanda DrinkhouseJuly 14, 2013Really great experience. When you go through security make sure you follow your carry on all the way through the X-ray machine or they will snap at you
- The bar at terminal 6 is usually less crowded, and you can order ChezBurger from there without waiting in line (very good burgers!).
- No need to arrive to early. Check in and security is a breeze. Make sure to wear slide on shoes for easy security scanning.
- Francisco MayagoitiaAugust 19, 2012A very convenient "relief" for LAX. Great for domestic flights. If flying international you might have to make an extra stop and it might cost a few extra.
- The food is overpriced and they have a racket going where every food item is $19.50. Doesn’t matter if you buy a sandwich or a hot meal. Eat before you come or pack a meal. Fruit cups cost $10!!
- Danny NortonNovember 8, 2013Smaller airport uses front & rear ramps, fewer baggage carousels, but major bottleneck at pick-up/drop-off. Definitely route here if handy for more streamlined trip
- Arrive by VC or AC Metrolink train and skip the traffic. Enter the airport by proceeding to floor 2 of car rental center and using moving walkways. I have made flights arriving 35m before departure!
- Emily PrendergastNovember 3, 2016If you walk to the end of the A terminal, there's another coffee shop selling Pete's and newsstand that are smaller but line free
