- Maddie LippincottJuly 2, 2018Great place to get some fun exercise in while you're on vacation. Lots of things to look at and a million good places to eat. Awesome both day and night. Much younger crowd at night, though.
- The TravelerOctober 28, 2015Great family Boardwalk. Not rowdy. Plenty of eats. Mornings are good for a run or walk. One complaint too many bikes in the morning traveling really fast.
- Nice family friendly boardwalk. A lot of nice shops and food choices. Two amusement ride areas, Wonderland geared toward younger kids and the other one with rides for older kids.
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍December 16, 2019As far as boardwalks go this one is pretty good. Not very crowded, very family friendly and has all the features of a classic boardwalk: wide open beach, a pier, carnival rides and knick knack stores
- Food LoverJuly 9, 2015If ordering tickets for rides get them VERY early because they can be pricy! But overall a great night trip for family's, with great pizza places and ice cream!
- Charles VesterAugust 13, 2015Love the food, stores, amusement parks and amusement parks... Love it all!!!
- Manco & Manco (formerly Mac & Manco) IS by FAR the absolute best pizza! NOT ONLY on the boards the best ANYWHERE!!!
- Phil AdamsDecember 30, 2014Wonderful in the winter! Brisk walks and morning runs. Plenty of space and friendly off-season visitors :)
- Holly HagemanMay 3, 2013First weekend in May starts the season off with the block party on Saturday. Asbury closes to vehicles, so you'll need a detour to get to the 9th street bridge/beach
- Mary WyllieAugust 29, 2015The ocean is beautiful but a lot of the stores are very junky with scary people. A lot of very annoying and drunk teens tourists the stores can play some really crappy music
- My favorite Jersey beach. Family friendly, decent businesses lining the boards, and plenty of sunshine.
- The best boardwalk in New Jersey, which means it’s the best in the country.
- Eat at Three Brother's pizza.. my favorite on the boardwalk, the slices are huge. If you can eat a whole pie in less than an hour you can win free pizzas for a year!
- PersephoneOctober 20, 2014So romantic in the off season! Share a Kohr's twisty cone with your honey while the sun sets.
- Alex VallettaJune 9, 2011Pure tacos. Gluten Free tacos. On the boards. 12st. Two spots down from the surf mall. We have an expanding menu. Check it out.
- The boardwalk is so awesome late at night when everyone goes home!
- Shashi RicksonAugust 16, 2013Keep an eye out for the blue A&E Modern Dads trailer! Free fun photos and copies! At the Moorlyn Terrace entrance!
- Eat at Angelo's at 14st for the best pizza on the boardwalk. Angelo's 2 down by wonderland isn't associated with them
- Peter LadmanMay 28, 2012Preps pizza is the best on the boardwalk ...better than Mack and mancos....its even won an award for it
- My favorite beach. There isn’t anything we don’t like here.
- John ThomasonJune 13, 2011Don't forget the Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard. We have those in Virginia now. It's like running into the Boardwalk out in the middle of nowhere!
- There are professional raptor trainers who walk the boards with their hawks to keep the seagulls away.
- Stephen CJuly 7, 2013Bring your sweatshirt or windbreaker even if you don't need it because your spouse will.
- If you are coming to watch the sunrise you need to be at the end of the boardwalk near Wonderland.
- Beautiful Mothers Day! Moms ride free on all ride. Some 12-5, some 12-6
- For a local, way to many shoobies. If you don't know what a shoobie is? you should probably get off the boardwalk.
- Frannie GAugust 20, 2010Mack&Manco's Pizza...Kohr Bros Frozen Custard...Hamburger Construction Company's Pork Roll Burger...just awesomeness!!!
- Glad to hear that they finally changed the Voice of OCBW from that ratchety old bag, to someone more pleasant.
- Julio DelacruzJuly 18, 2013If you are craving a Beer you are out of luck. This is a dry town which is why we left after an hour and headed for the cape.
- Ian ScissorsJune 28, 2011Don't buy the hermit crabs here. They don't treat them right and almost all of them will die. They need fresh and salt water to live and at least an inch of soil to bury themselves.
- Amanda SmithJuly 2, 2013Best birth control ever... Walk up there and you'll never wanna have kids. Lol
- HAMBURGER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY has the best burgers on the boardwalk!!!
