Beautiful. Probably one of the best walks of our whole trip. If you come to Yamazaki there is no excuse: you really should include hiking up here and walking around for at least a bit.

「睡蓮池のほとりにて　モネと須田悦弘、伊藤存」、28日迄延長、今日ぎりぎり間に合って30分だけ観たけど、とってもよかった。建物・庭とコレクションと妙に調和していて、軽くて。ビールケーキも買えたし。もっかいゆっくり行きたいけどあと3日、難しい。。 Read more

ここは絵を見に行くというより、せわしい日常から離れて、場所そのもの(庭も建築も調度も眺望も含めた環境全体)を楽しみに行くところです。

大きな美術館じゃないけど、レトロな建物と、自然と、安藤忠雄のコンクリート建築が、不思議な調和を見せていて、おもしろいです。
